First.
| The past five days have come and gone, though exactly how easily they've done so is debatable; some have been trying to press onward in their optimism and faith that things will get better, while some seem convinced that things will only go downhill from here. However people have chosen to see it, though, clearly this week hasn't been all bad – after all, attempts at encouraging unity among the group seem to have been at least reasonably successful. ...Seem to have been. Friday dawns like the rest of the week before it – the clock chimes the hour at seven, the doors to the kitchen and the mail room unlock, and the building is quiet. It would seem that maybe the night passed reasonably quietly – were it not for the large red smears on the walls and floor of the southeastern side of the dormitory. It looks like somebody decided to be a damn overachiever and took some initiative of their own. >Explore? |

There's plenty of food in the fridge.

Yeah, I'm sure, but there's somethin' right here!
[... He'll go to the fridge to get food in a bit but tell him why he cannot eat what this is right now.]

[She didn't get that good a look at her but she's also not sure there's that much blood in a body.]

[... Oh, yeah, someone died. Which one was Securing again?]

Is there anything weird looking about said crushed tomatoes, or should he move onto the can? To facilitate actually being able to see if there's something weird in the crushed tomatoes, he's sticking his face right in the damn bowl, on account of not being able to god damn see.]

Moving onto the can, it's one of the typical cans that can be found here, but there's no label on it or anything.]

I'm so sorry-]

Well, now that we've safely established that there are a hell of a lot of tomatoes in here, Silver's looking around for some other out of place food products on the counter or stove. Surely no one would straight up eat a bowl of raw canned tomatoes, right?]

[Having an entire cabinet full of unlabeled cans would be really inconvenient. Wasteful, too, but mostly inconvenient. She'll just. Rifle through the rest of the cabinets half to make sure anything else canned is still labeled and half to see if anything looks just plain odd.]

[What does he do with this? Donnen would make note of the evidence and abandon protocol in favor of a vigilante mission. Hawke wouldn't have even investigated the blood. He's starting to regret not writing characters that follow the rules -- his research never told him what to do in this case!!!!]
[He'll just-- clear his throat. Anyone in the kitchen wanna help out?]
