First.

Friday dawns much like the rest of the week before it – that is to say, obnoxiously. The klaxons are as loud as ever first thing in the morning, and anyone wandering out into the main corridor will be pleased to know that-

...Oh.

It's a straight shot down the hallway, meaning that everyone's line of sight is likely to be immediately drawn to the unholy mess going on past the threshold leading to the dorms.

There's some hints that someone may have been busy out here last night – for one thing, there's a chair lying on the ground for god only knows what reason. That's obviously not supposed to be there. Come on, guys, clean up after yourselves.

Of course, there's also a fucklot of blood. That's probably important.

It seems concentrated on the far end of the hallway, closer to the elevator than the dorms. There's also a large trail of it leading somewhere.

That's probably also important.

Despite everyone's best efforts to keep themselves busy and optimistic about escape, looks like somebody got restless last night.

[A loud blast of that obnoxious alarm should catch your attention. It's followed by two shorter blasts, and if you were lucky enough to sleep through the first one this morning, these three might wake you up.

If they don't, the Kingmaker's announcement probably will.]

It seems like someone was busy last night. They decided to act on Rule Seven and one of your fellow Survivors has paid the price.

From now on, it's all of you against the culprit. Should they successfully fulfill the requirements of rule seven, they will complete the exercise. Can you all really allow that though, after they've taken someone's life?

You all have time to investigate the Vault. Make sure it counts. Once you're done, the elevator doors will open and you'll be allowed into the courtroom to begin piecing together what happened and figuring out who's responsible.

Adaptable is dead. It's up to you all to figure out what happened and bring the person responsible to justice.

[The Kingmaker doesn't sound pleased or displeased with the current situation. He won't answer even if you yell at the PA system, so you might not want to waste your time with that.

After all, you have a murder to solve.]
