Friday dawns much like the rest of the week before it – that is to say, obnoxiously. The klaxons are as loud as ever first thing in the morning, and anyone wandering out into the main corridor will be pleased to know that- ...Oh. It's a straight shot down the hallway, meaning that everyone's line of sight is likely to be immediately drawn to the unholy mess going on past the threshold leading to the dorms. There's some hints that someone may have been busy out here last night – for one thing, there's a chair lying on the ground for god only knows what reason. That's obviously not supposed to be there. Come on, guys, clean up after yourselves. Of course, there's also a fucklot of blood. That's probably important. It seems concentrated on the far end of the hallway, closer to the elevator than the dorms. There's also a large trail of it leading somewhere. That's probably also important. Despite everyone's best efforts to keep themselves busy and optimistic about escape, looks like somebody got restless last night. >Explore?

[Well! It looks like we've got a lot of bruising, and a lot of slashing. Lynne's dealing with his, uh, neck there, so let's check out everything else he's got going on - what are you wanting to look at first?]

[amygdalae]

[...yeah he'll probably look at the neck last.

Since Lynne is starting from the top, he'll go from the bottom. Feet and legs first. Any wounds that look out of place? Is he missing any clothes? Was something ripped apart?]

[He's not missing any clothes, but it's not like his clothes are in great shape here. Whoever did this really went to town on him - there are slash marks absolutely everywhere.]

[Well somebody was seriously wanting to get the job done, it seems.

How big are the slash marks? Big, small, deep, shallow?

Also Bruce will go up higher now and sort of... respectfully try to take off his clothes--which brings to the question: what is he wearing?]

[He's not wearing anything unusual - it's the same horrible outfit he showed up in, minus the cape.

The slash wounds, though...they don't seem deep enough to be fatal on their own, but they do have a specific pattern to them that might be noticeable.]

[Okay, there's something now.

Time to examine the slash wounds further. What kind of pattern are we talking about here.]

[They aren't individual slash marks; they come in sets.

There are a few areas where some of the marks are broken or absent - like there wasn't as much pressure put on one side or another, or like he was grazed and didn't get the full treatment. But they're consistent enough to give the idea.

They look sort of like claw marks, actually.]

[amygdalae]

[Claw marks...

Bruce stares at it for a while before he slowly raises a hand and sort of--tries to match the position of his fingers to one of those sets. Does the mark fit the size of a general human hand?]

[trustharder]

[Actually? Not exactly.

Either these claws were freakishly long or whatever was using them was freakishly huge, it's really hard to tell.]

[Well then, its clearly somebody who isn't human...

And Bruce sure knows what its not like to be human.

He makes a good note of that and proceeds on with his investigation.
