[ Well, that was an extraordinary trial to have... it was certainly filled with many things that wouldn't be lost to the memory of most, even for weeks to come. Although, the return to "normalcy" could be something that wouldn't seem like it was wanted, it was better than the alternative to returning to anything at all.

With ease, Mikazuki find himself setting up the usual party in the usual place-- that would be the library of course. Notes have been slipped underneath the doors of others, or hung up on the walls to alert them of this post-trial "celebration" -- which was more like a get-together of some sorts now than a real party. ]


Please join us in the library again. Of course, food and drink will be provided.

[ Instead, what she does is cut off a little after where the bracelet comes full-circle--it fits pretty well, though some threads are sticking out--and moves to tie it around his wrist. ]

It's a friendship bracelet! I have a matching one on my wrist, see?

[ She holds up her wrist; Nick's is right next to the one she made for Watanuki and Hanyuu! ]

Nick is actually speechless when he takes his wrist back from her, looking at his new bracelet tied around his wrist as if it's something completely foreign to him.]



....you're.. pretty serious about this friend thing, aren't you?

[It's not like Nick's never had friends before but.. well.. he's. Not used to people actually trusting him, or believing in him or.. any of that.

So needless to say this is a little surprising to him.]

Yup! I really am serious about it!

[ And now there's no going back!!! ]

I don't think you're as bad as you say you are, Nick-kun. Maybe it's because I don't know you well, but if you were really that bad...you wouldn't be investigating or helping during the trials, right?

[ She is very, very set on trying to prove a thing to him. ]

[That gets Nick to look up at Orihime again, silent for a few more seconds before saying:]


...I con people out of their money, sweetheart. And I'd like to get out of here to continue conning people out of their money.. that's why I help with the investigations.

[...well and he's a softie in there somewhere, but she probably won't get him to admit it.]

But...you also could have taken matters into your own hands in another way, too. By...you know.

Either way, I still think of you as a friend. And I would most certainly be really, really sad if I had to see you go.

[Oh Orihime... you pure, pure child.]

Well luckily for you, the only going I plan on doing is going home once we've busted out of this place.

Good. That's..how it should be.

[ She gives him a firm nod, finishing the knot around his wrist before she pulls back. ]

Um, they say that as long as you leave it on, when it breaks on its own, you'll get good luck!

Then it looks like I'll have to keep it on until it breaks, huh?

[He cracks a small smile for her either way though. Even if it's cheesy and embarrassing, it's a sweet gesture in the end.]

[ Is that a smile?! Oh my god, you know what that means -- ]

[ WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT, Orihime's just gonna smother him in a giant hug!!! ]

[Who didn't expect Orihime to hug him after saying that, honestly...

It gets a laugh or two out of the fox, before he's pushing on her lightly to try and get her to let go.]

Okay, okay. I'd like to have my bones still in tact, please.

[introspects]

[ Luckily for him, that's all she needed and she lets go upon demand! ]

Hehe, sorry! I got a little excited!

[ He's embracing the power of friendship... See! She knew you were good, Nick! ]
