[ Well, that was an extraordinary trial to have... it was certainly filled with many things that wouldn't be lost to the memory of most, even for weeks to come. Although, the return to "normalcy" could be something that wouldn't seem like it was wanted, it was better than the alternative to returning to anything at all.

With ease, Mikazuki find himself setting up the usual party in the usual place-- that would be the library of course. Notes have been slipped underneath the doors of others, or hung up on the walls to alert them of this post-trial "celebration" -- which was more like a get-together of some sorts now than a real party. ]


Please join us in the library again. Of course, food and drink will be provided.

Now, I'm a little curious, how is Old Geezer played?

[ ... He doesn't know about card games too intimately either, whoops. ]

[She recovers fast enough, focusing on the cards, and clearing her throat.] W-well... You deal out all the cards to the players, and then try to pull one that matches with another. So, a 2 with a 2, but the colors must match too. Hearts with diamonds, spades with clubs. The first to get rid of their hand wins, and the other players keep trying to match for other places.

[...so basically like Old Maid, but without the Old Maid card. Everyone just matches cards?]

Obviously, with two people, it's more likely they'll finish at the same time.

Ah, I see. It sounds like quite a fun game. How about we play that one, then?

[ He'll keep his smile here. He could go for simple right 'bout now, or what he perceives to be simple. It remains to be seen if he doesn't goof up mid-game... ]

[Oh, that's...interesting. She tilts her head.]

Even though...we're both likely to win at the same time? It doesn't sound a very thrilling game.

Well, I suppose I am alright with either type of game. If you want, you could teach me ... what were the other two again? Gym and Romeo?

...but you know, I think...maybe a round of Old Geezer first. I could use a game where there are no losers, for once.

Oh, good, good. Sometimes simple games are the best, right?

[ He gets curious and picks up a card. ]

I may also make a mistake since I am new so it could be a fun learning experience~

And we are here to learn, aren't we? [There's no bite in that, and she begins shuffling the deck.]

That is certainly true.

[ Mikazuki tries to slip the card back over to her so that she doesn't have too much trouble in her shuffling the deck minus it. ]

Thank you for bringing these with you, by the way. They will be quite the helpful distraction...

[It's not that hard to get the extra card added in, no worries! She's dealing soon enough. ...And she has a lot of cards to deal...]

I feel so at ease in that room, with all those games and things to do. [...Heh.] I figured if it helps me, it could help someone else too.

Yes. It is always good when we are able to make the best of the situation.

Speaking of games, though, is there one you can consider to be a favorite?

Oh... I don't think I know well enough for sure. I've never been able to play any before here, so I'm still trying a lot out.

Oh... I didn't have a physical form for over...a thousand years, before I came here.

[ He'll actually nod in understanding. It's a little dubious in his situation, but he didn't have a physical human form until the Sages became present. ]

... Do you prefer having a physical form, Miss Hanyuu?

Greatly. I can feel, and taste...and talk with people, and they can see me. I much prefer it to being a spirit.
