I have a dream that I want to fulfill with you...

[ Well, that was an extraordinary trial to have... it was certainly filled with many things that wouldn't be lost to the memory of most, even for weeks to come. Although, the return to "normalcy" could be something that wouldn't seem like it was wanted, it was better than the alternative to returning to anything at all.

With ease, Mikazuki find himself setting up the usual party in the usual place-- that would be the library of course. Notes have been slipped underneath the doors of others, or hung up on the walls to alert them of this post-trial "celebration" -- which was more like a get-together of some sorts now than a real party. ]

Please join us in the library again. Of course, food and drink will be provided.

- Mikazuki, Orihime, Hanyuu, & Estelle

[ The food and drink has been set out, what with there being tea, vichyssoise, cream puffs, and fish for everyone to enjoy. ]

[Judy nods a little, her ears flopping with the movement.]

I have over two hundred little brothers and sisters. You get pretty good at it after a while.
sportadork: (maybe I'm scared)

I bet. [12. Mud puddles... 17. Pomegranates...

he pauses for a moment.]
I wish this would work on anyone else here. People who need it more than me.

I wish it would, too. But...I can help cheer them up in other ways. Just being there for them, or being a good listener are invaluable sometimes.
sportadork: (what could I say)

It is...

[a pause] Every time I did that for him, he thought I was after something, or trying to trick him. I can't even imagine what it's like, living your life thinking that way. It must be very lonely.
officerhops: (I always get up now to see what's next)

[personal profile] officerhops 2017-02-12 05:26 am (UTC)(link)
[...wait.]

Him?
sportadork: (and I'll be your dog)

Kira. He always seemed so... I wanted to help him. [and can't admit he couldn't.]
officerhops: (I keep on hitting the ground)

[personal profile] officerhops 2017-02-12 06:24 am (UTC)(link)
Right...well, the best thing you could have done is try. And I know you tried, Sportacus.
sportadork: (and I can't sleep)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-02-12 06:46 am (UTC)(link)
I could have... [sighs] Honestly, I don't think trying harder would have helped anything. He had... very serious problems.

... Still. Voting doesn't feel right for me, even if it felt good this time. I've never wanted to judge people.
officerhops: (take a deep breath)

It isn't really fair that we're made to make decisions like that. Honestly, since it's my job, I'd be happy to take responsibility in the place of everyone else, but...I don't think the Wordsmith would allow it.
sportadork: (what could I say)

[personal profile] sportadork 2017-02-12 07:00 am (UTC)(link)
No, he wants everyone to take responsibility... Maybe he thinks that if we're the ones taking responsibility, it stops being his fault.
officerhops: (whatcha gonna do when they come)

[personal profile] officerhops 2017-02-12 05:37 pm (UTC)(link)
That seems like a good explanation for it. He wants everyone else to take responsibility, yet refuses to take it himself.

Mark my words though, Sportacus. One of these days, I'm going to see to it that he's arrested and properly behind bars for the rest of his life. Whoever...or whatever he is.
