[ Well, that was an extraordinary trial to have... it was certainly filled with many things that wouldn't be lost to the memory of most, even for weeks to come. Although, the return to "normalcy" could be something that wouldn't seem like it was wanted, it was better than the alternative to returning to anything at all.

With ease, Mikazuki find himself setting up the usual party in the usual place-- that would be the library of course. Notes have been slipped underneath the doors of others, or hung up on the walls to alert them of this post-trial "celebration" -- which was more like a get-together of some sorts now than a real party. ]


Please join us in the library again. Of course, food and drink will be provided.

It's a unique way of looking at things, I'll give you that. I wouldn't be surprised if some people thought people like Kimbley and I deserved something like this. Why, I'm sure several of my enemies back home would be thrilled to know this is where I've been taken!

That's a good answer, I think. Don't get me wrong, I don't care about Kira. I never got to know him or Chiyuki. But with that said... I do think it's good that you're not drawing a line where some people deserve this and others don't.

No one deserves this. I think you're right.

[He's certainly not the worst person back home, and even though he'd wish this on Emmeryn and the entire Ylissean royal family, it's because he's biased against them.

Hanyuu is something else alright, and it's something he can genuinely appreciate.]

I may never forgive Kira...or like him, at all. But still, I wish no one had to die. I wish the culprits...could be dealt with another way. That justice could involve redemption, if they so chose. I wish...even Kira...didn't have to be swallowed by that thing.

I won't say I agree, because I don't believe everyone can be redeemed. Not in a way that would be acceptable to everyone here, anyway.

[He's certain he can't. Kira can't. Kimbley probably can't either. That's just how things are. It's not something that bothers him any.]

But with that said... I see where you're coming from. That's the way things are here though, and there's nothing we can do to change the Wordsmith's mind on that.
