[ Well, that was an extraordinary trial to have... it was certainly filled with many things that wouldn't be lost to the memory of most, even for weeks to come. Although, the return to "normalcy" could be something that wouldn't seem like it was wanted, it was better than the alternative to returning to anything at all.

With ease, Mikazuki find himself setting up the usual party in the usual place-- that would be the library of course. Notes have been slipped underneath the doors of others, or hung up on the walls to alert them of this post-trial "celebration" -- which was more like a get-together of some sorts now than a real party. ]


Please join us in the library again. Of course, food and drink will be provided.

[ If the circumstances were better, Orihime would be more excited about getting to hug a celebrity from the future. But right now, she's not thinking of that; Viktor is human, too, and he doesn't deserve to be going through this at all.

Orihime moves her hand to gently rub his back up and down, trying to comfort him as much as she can. ]

[quadruples]

...Thank you.

[ He's probably not going to end the hug until Orihime starts squirming or tells him to let go of her. ]

[introspects]

[ She doesn't end it for a few more moments; she can tell he really needs it right now, after losing someone he cared about. It's tough. She understands.

She does pull back a little, remembering the cream puffs. ]

Ah- Nikiforov-san, I brought some desserts for you...

[quadruples]

[ Viktor lets go when she pulls back, and lifts his hand to wipe away some of the wetness from his face. He even forces a small smile. ]

I appreciate it, Orihime.

[introspects]

[ Orihime holds the plate out to him, smiling warmly. She's glad he's at least smiling, even if it's only a little. ]

Here. I...thought you might like them, since you made pancakes the past few times...

[quadruples]

[ Viktor takes the plate and grabs a bite, chewing slowly. ]

...It's good. [ He actually wasn't in the mood for dessert, but it's... nice, anyway. ]

[introspects]

Aha, I'm glad to hear..!

[ She's just happy he's eating, honestly. It's good to eat and get hydrated after a good cry. ]

Would you like me to get you some tea, too? Or some water?

[quadruples]

I'd like a cup of tea. I made fried rice but I forgot to get something to drink. [ He usually doesn't forget things like eating or drinking, but today has been really rough so it didn't even occur to him to get a glass of water. ]

[introspects]

Leave it to me!

[ Aaand she's just gonna run off to the party to grab him a nice cup of tea. She's back quickly and knocks on his door again. Tea's nice and warm! ]

[quadruples]

[ There's no delay before he opens the door this time. ]

[ She's more than happy to provide, especially if it'll help him feel better. ]

Yes. ...I don't want to be alone right now. [ A part of him does, but an even larger part of him doesn't. Dislikes: being alone. ]

Sure thing. What would you like to do?

[ Talk about it? Play cards? Drinking...well. Orihime doesn't drink, but she'll share some juice? ]

...We could talk. You could tell me about your life. [ ... ] I realized I didn't know much about Chiyuki's, outside of her figure skating. So I want to know more about you, Orihime.

[ They could talk about what happened, but he doesn't really feel like touching that particular topic. ]

...My life?

[ Oh...that's. That's a pretty depressing subject, too, but when Viktor puts it that way it's hard to refuse. ]

Um, well--I'm a third-year at Karakura High School in Tokyo, Japan; my favorite pastime besides cooking is watching comedies on television; and...some other things?

...What kind of other things?

Um...well! I guess there's...no point in keeping it a secret, but--I can see spirits.

[quadruples]

Really? What kind of spirits, are they youkai or ghosts...?

[introspects]

...Both? Ah, there's a lot of spirits wandering around, but in my world...if they linger for too long, they turn into Hollows. Which are kind of like youkai, if that makes sense?
