[ Well, that was an extraordinary trial to have... it was certainly filled with many things that wouldn't be lost to the memory of most, even for weeks to come. Although, the return to "normalcy" could be something that wouldn't seem like it was wanted, it was better than the alternative to returning to anything at all.

With ease, Mikazuki find himself setting up the usual party in the usual place-- that would be the library of course. Notes have been slipped underneath the doors of others, or hung up on the walls to alert them of this post-trial "celebration" -- which was more like a get-together of some sorts now than a real party. ]

There's a girl, back home. I...I like her. A lot. But she likes someone else.

That guy she likes, he's kind of a jerk. Very broody and standoffish. He's not really a bad guy, he even saved my life a few times. But I could never separate him from 'the girl I like likes him instead of me', so I was always mean to him. Even after he saved my life.

I...really need to make that up to him. I wasn't very fair to him.

I think it's normal to feel that way, though. You...really cared about her, so it sounds like you just got jealous. But you're realizing all of this, and that's what matters, isn't it? It shows that you have a kind heart. And...when you go back home, you'll have your chance to make things right.

I don't like thinking about it, but I think if I have time to get over my feelings for her, I would be okay. She's a really good friend, and she's already made her choice, so I would hate to drive her away because of my jealousy.

[Aww. Watanuki is surprised for a moment, but he does hug her back. It's surprising how good a hug can feel, he never realized how much he wanted human contact like this.]

I'm already happy, Inoue-san. I'd like to be seeing someone, sure, but I don't need that to be happy.

He's practically a bottomless pit. I thought Yuuko could eat a lot, but he swallows up everything! And he's very energetic, too. He's always bouncing off the walls.

Wow, he sounds like a really fun person! I guess I can see how someone like that would make you happy! Something like his happiness is contagious, right?

Just a little bit. I bet he would like you too if he met you. I mean, he likes pretty much everyone he meets, but he especially likes people with positive attitudes.
