[ Well, that was an extraordinary trial to have... it was certainly filled with many things that wouldn't be lost to the memory of most, even for weeks to come. Although, the return to "normalcy" could be something that wouldn't seem like it was wanted, it was better than the alternative to returning to anything at all.

With ease, Mikazuki find himself setting up the usual party in the usual place-- that would be the library of course. Notes have been slipped underneath the doors of others, or hung up on the walls to alert them of this post-trial "celebration" -- which was more like a get-together of some sorts now than a real party. ]


Please join us in the library again. Of course, food and drink will be provided.

Well, I am glad that at least you're doing well with being able to continue on good enough in the aftermath of that mess. There was quite a lot of excitement this time.

I suppose there was. But... then again I felt this trial was more definitive and we were more united for once.

[Only she can see the good in a shitfest.]

I didn't want to think there were bad people here, however... I suppose it really doesn't matter where we are. Bad people exist everywhere.

[ He almost says 'yes, we were united in once again killing each other', but he is aware that such a thing is probably something he shouldn't say. ]

That is certainly true. Not to mention, I think we learned a few things about other people that we should keep in mind.

[ That probably sounds cruel, but if people were going to be killing each other, then they should be prepared to watch others. ]

[firstaid]

Yes, we did. I know...

[It's no different than with back home. Ragou and Cumore... they ended up being awful people and paid with their lives. She just hoped it wasn't that way here.]

[tsugomori]

[ He'll give a nod, and think a little, like he's considering saying something important... ]

Would you like to have some tea?

[ Nailed it. ]

I would love some tea. Thank you, Mikazuki. You've been so kind to me here. I don't think I've properly expressed my gratitude to you.

[She smiles a bit at him.]

Oh it's no problem at all. I think everyone--

[ PAUSE. ]

--mostly everyone deserves the chance to experience kindness and I am always glad to give such a thing to my friends especially.

[ He goes to pour her some tea, though. ]

I must agree. Showing others kindness, especially in a situation like this, is something that has to continually be done. It's how we support one another.

[And she sure is grateful for it.]

Well, now that that's been said, let's try to enjoy ourselves and relax as best as we can.

[ He hands her the cup and begins to sip at his tea serenely. ]

Oh, and speaking of enjoying ourselves, I did have a chance to enjoy that soup earlier. It was quite delicious~

[And she'll start sipping her tea as well.]

I'm glad you enjoyed the soup. It's one of my favorites to make.

Who taught you how to cook? Or did you learn on your own?

[ Mikazuki feels blessed that he's surrounded by such talented cooks tbh. ]

[firstaid]

Part of it is I learned on my own, but I was taught by a friend back home, too! We had to cook while we were traveling and I wanted to help, so that was the result.

[She's not amazing, to be honest, but her food is edible. She was taught how to make sure of that much.]

[tsugomori]

You're quite the quick and adept learner, then. Between you and Killia, I believe I may need to try my best to learn so I can help out either one of you two someday.

[ ... because all he can make is mostly tea. ]

Well, it's nice that you can make drinks! Without a beverage to round things out, well, a meal just wouldn't be as good.

[Basically, the three of them could team up and feed the place.]

[ He does little to hide how flattered he is. ]

Of course it is. We'll have to make a meal together sometime!

I'm not entirely sure if tea makes for a good flavor of cake...

Hahaha, it's not exactly cake flavored with tea, but it's a type of cake.

It's really sweet and kind of good...

[ He sighs. Now he wants some again and pouts a little. ]

Perhaps someone here could make it for you. Both Killia and Watanuki are wonderful cooks!

[Meanwhile, Estelle is kind of a one trick pony.]

Aw, and here I was hoping to see what your cake may taste like that. But, I suppose it's true.

I could ask all three of them to make some for me.

Um, I could try to make a cake, but I can't promise it will be all that good...

[ He starts to get an idea... ]

Hmm, have you ever made a cake before?

Well, yes, a few times. And I do rather like cake.

[It's just... something that she may not be the best at.]

I was thinking if you hadn't that we could try making a cake together. But even if you have, maybe we still can.

[ It's alright he's bad at cooking so what would be the better option than to do stuff they're not good at together!! ]
