I have a dream that I want to fulfill with you...

[ Well, that was an extraordinary trial to have... it was certainly filled with many things that wouldn't be lost to the memory of most, even for weeks to come. Although, the return to "normalcy" could be something that wouldn't seem like it was wanted, it was better than the alternative to returning to anything at all.

With ease, Mikazuki find himself setting up the usual party in the usual place-- that would be the library of course. Notes have been slipped underneath the doors of others, or hung up on the walls to alert them of this post-trial "celebration" -- which was more like a get-together of some sorts now than a real party. ]

Please join us in the library again. Of course, food and drink will be provided.

- Mikazuki, Orihime, Hanyuu, & Estelle

[ The food and drink has been set out, what with there being tea, vichyssoise, cream puffs, and fish for everyone to enjoy. ]

I'll check again, but I think what you're feeling is a reaction from the chemicals that were around Chiyuki's body.

[And she does check again - there's a small shard that she carefully removes before cleaning everything as carefully as she can. She mixes a small bit of lidocaine with the antibiotic ointment that she applies to the wound.]

There was a small shard of porcelain, but that's gone now. Does it still feel like there's something in there?

[ God this hurts, this hurts. Her toes curl and uncurl a she tries to show that it wasn't hurting her. Maybe it already was a little infected. Was that even possible? Either way, she's holding out her hand even through the wincing, as if expecting Angela to hand off the shard in question.

That might not be clear ]

I don't know, maybe? I don't think so.

I'm almost done. You'll feel better in no time.

[She'll pass off the shard - no need to keep it - and use a little more lidocaine to try and numb things.]

All right.

[She'll bandage things up as gently as possible.]

[ Elda closes her hand around the shard, pulling it in closer to her chest and frowning. ]

What, it's done?

[ Mmmmmrrr. ]

Man this feels bad.

We're all done now. You did very well.

[She smiles, then goes to one of the cabinets to fetch a bottle of painkillers. She takes two of them and gets some water, then passes it over.]

That should help, too.

[ she looks...

Very skeptically at these pills... ]

I'm not sure these event work on vampires?

They're acetaminophen - I made sure to choose something that wouldn't be a blood thinner or have any other effects. If you'd rather not, though, it's all right.

[ Oh. ... Oh wow ]

None of that herbal stuff back in the day used to work on us.

[ She ... is actually a little bit surprised the woman would be considerate like that ]

We've come a long way since then. Try it, and if it doesn't work, I'll see what else I can safely give you. I'm not an expert on vampire biology, but I'm sure we can come up with something.
matchbreaker: (tbh im not sure if the above is better)

Alright, alright, I'll try it. This'll make things less painful, right?

[ Let's pop the pills then! With water. ]
