[ Well, that was an extraordinary trial to have... it was certainly filled with many things that wouldn't be lost to the memory of most, even for weeks to come. Although, the return to "normalcy" could be something that wouldn't seem like it was wanted, it was better than the alternative to returning to anything at all.

With ease, Mikazuki find himself setting up the usual party in the usual place-- that would be the library of course. Notes have been slipped underneath the doors of others, or hung up on the walls to alert them of this post-trial "celebration" -- which was more like a get-together of some sorts now than a real party. ]


Please join us in the library again. Of course, food and drink will be provided.

[Gold would find himself in luck. While he might not stumble upon his room, he would stumble on Varric, on his way back from the restroom. His manner of walking has the dwarf both amused and concerned -- it's the kind of thing he saw time and time again as people left the tavern in Skyhold.]

[That is the utterly unamused look of a man who's heard that joke one too many times there, Gold. He had half of a mind to step back, to let the kid plop down to the floor. Especially considering the comment offered in regards to his height.]

[But it wouldn't be polite, and since he'd already caused one shit-show today, he figured it best to play nice. The sobering mention of Chiyuki at least helped in that.]

[And it wasn't the first time a drunken man had called him short.]

It just feels right, kid. All of these people have deserved better endings. Maybe not Kira or Kyrie but... the rest of them at least.

Kira I can agree with, but if you don't think I wouldn't throw someone under a bus for Silver you'd be dead wrong. Family's family, and that's important, yeah?

Least I get why she did it, she had to get back to her family and all, even if I ain't pleased with her choice of.... choices. [#nailedit] The hands guy just makes me mad.

Yeah, but her choice damned another family. All because Brains was at the top of the list. That doesn't sit right with me, noble goal or not. [And then he snorted.] Dead wrong though, kid? Really?

[At the very least, he understood the sentiment. It was the same damn thing he would do for any of his family, makeshift or not. Still, it wasn't as if he'd be picking the doctor, just because she was the closest living person to the top.]

You and me both. But at least he got what he deserved. [Maybe not. He would have preferred something much more bloody.]

Ain't like it's right with me either, but it ain't too different than Alani wantin' to sacrifice all of us to save her world. Some of us've got worlds t'save ourselves!

Anyway, that bastard definitely deserved more. Would've liked to see what Lusa was gonna do to him with her other heel.

Fair point. [Even if Varric had been stricken by Alani's case, he wasn't about to start an argument. He understood the sentiment -- hell he had his own world to save back home. It just so happened that he was blessed with the gift of expendability.]

I'm with you. Lucy is a terrifying woman. The books I could write about her... [There was definitely a tone of awe in his voice.]
