[ Well, that was an extraordinary trial to have... it was certainly filled with many things that wouldn't be lost to the memory of most, even for weeks to come. Although, the return to "normalcy" could be something that wouldn't seem like it was wanted, it was better than the alternative to returning to anything at all.

With ease, Mikazuki find himself setting up the usual party in the usual place-- that would be the library of course. Notes have been slipped underneath the doors of others, or hung up on the walls to alert them of this post-trial "celebration" -- which was more like a get-together of some sorts now than a real party. ]


Please join us in the library again. Of course, food and drink will be provided.

Rilin' up crazy guys like that is pretty much what I did back home, too, it ain't any different. So I'm fine!

...Well, stop that. [That...actually gets a surprisingly snappish response out of Lusamine, shaking just a bit--both of her Pokemon immediately go to kind of calm her.]

If you keep tempting fate like this, one of these days it is going to try and rear back up at you. I don't want to have to keep worrying.

There's a time and a place for messing around, and a place where that will get you killed is not it. None of our Pokemon will be able to defend us if something happens so just stop that.

[He knows she's right, just like how Silver's right about the same stuff; it still ticks him off and he shoves his hands in his now glass-free pockets.]

Damn, you and Silver could be related for all the shit that comes out your mouths.

[But he's looking away too, pursing his lips as he glances back at Lusamine.]

... I know it ain't the same here. But as long as I've got Silver around, I feel pretty damn invincible, you know? I know he'll protect Polibo if something happens, I know he's got my back, and I'd do the same for him in a heartbeat. I ain't gonna do anything that'll kill me, but I ain't gonna stop givin' bastards what they deserve either.

[And from his tone, this is how he reacts to it from her too, though... he's looking kind of uncomfortable at hurting her too, shifting on his feet and finally taking a seat beside her. Talking a little more gently, even if it's got that rough edge of stubbornness to it.]

I ain't tryin' to hurt you or nothin', Lusa, but I've been takin' care of myself for years now -- pretty much every time me and my pals go and save the world, we're puttin' our lives on the line! Crys gets mad at me for changin' plans outta the blue. Silver's been gettin' mad at me for the same stuff you're gettin' mad at now. I get mad at him too.

[He's just not used to being that fussed over for stuff they handle already without issue, and habits are hard to break. Chiyuki dying hasn't helped his mood either.]

Can't say I don't appreciate your concern, 'cause I do, but I just ain't in the mood for it.

[That just makes her even jitterier, and just...trying to take a deep breath. It's an attempt, but it's failing considerably. It's aggravating enough that this has to even be a fight for her, but even so, she can't just sit here and let this happen.

She doesn't oppose it, though, if her own arm pulling him in is any indication. It's...not going to be enough to get her to stop fussing--but he seems happy. It can be brought up another day, and maybe it'll go better. It's been a tough one.]
