WEEK 4.

WEEK 4 Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. [There are cabinets and drawers, all with various medical supplies in them! There doesn't seem to be anything obviously out of place in either the cabinets or the drawers.]

We first met at a post-competition banquet. They're usually boring, stuffy events where I have to talk to sponsors and bigwigs and pretend the conversations are interesting. Then Yuuri got drunk, started taking his clothes off and challenged me to a dance-off, asking me to be his coach if he won. [ A dreamy sigh. Fond memories. ]

The way he looked at me with those beautiful brown eyes almost made me melt.

Ah, I see...well I can see why that was quite troubling. You would have to come up with something else.

By the way, how was Zero able to enforce those 'rules'? Is it unreasonable to believe there would be some dissenters?

[And most of the rest of the room is empty space... so how did the swords get here if she was asleep?

Did the Wordsmith actually enter this room to do that? It's not an unreasonable conclusion, but unless there's any strange footprints in the room (and that's not likely) there's nothing concrete supporting it aside from nothing fitting through that ceiling vent.]

I certainly hope no one decides to get creative with a murder now. We're going to be in trouble if this pattern continues--if we all don't get made into a show by the Wordsmith.

Outside of its gaseous state, I believe chlorine can be used to clean certain substances.

There are disadvantages. Gem bodies are designed to automatically adjust to changes in gravity. It means I can't swim, and in situations with low gravity, I would not be able to float.

....I think that's something certain organic beings would enjoy, anyway.

Yeah, okay. I kinda figured that, but I thought about it and realized it might be kind of a dick move?

But whatever. It's cool, I guess.

[Jasper has deliberately avoided seeing the bodies when she can, because death of organic life disturbs her on a deep level, but the sheer amount of screaming means she doesn't have much of a choice but to see what's going on.
