WEEK 4.

WEEK 4 Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. That's right. We rely on trade and it's not like I had much money to spend on frivolous things prior to becoming King of Plegia.

[He shrugs a bit once that's out there though.]

[She blushes a bit, too. So yeah, it's looking like she really is telling the truth.

However, she smiles when he sits next to her.]

Indeed! Plegia doesn't run on blood - or at least not anything as stupid as bloodlines! We only have the best of the best as our kings, so it's no surprise that I've taken the throne!

[It's interesting to watch--she's never really seen anyone use a sword before. The only ones she had ever seen were for decoration at best, and fake at worst. The style itself isn't unexpected, though--wild, careless, free almost. It certainly looks like he has a blast when he fights...

Though, Lusamine does speak up after a little bit of watching.]

I would have taken you more for a stabbing type, rather than hacking and slashing. Is it better that way?

Absolutely not. I haven't seen anyone pull it off well.

Better if they don't, at this rate - I'm all right with it just being an absolute carnival of out-of-context shit. Who knows, maybe it'll keep my life interesting now that I can't annoy the weird bastard with the hand fetish.

[Holy shit, a mention of Kira that isn't completely depressing, clearly life moves on.]

[He pauses when she speaks up, then takes a moment to consider her words.]

There's a time and a place for stabbing, certainly! But that's better suited to knives or spears, weapons that are better used to thrust.

[He demonstrates and it's obvious he can't get quite as much power behind a thrust with the sword he's using.]

Personally, I've never been fond of that style. "Hacking and slashing" come more naturally to me and they're a better fit for a sword like this! Of course, with my regular sword I wouldn't have to do any of this at all, but unfortunately that hasn't fallen out of that machine.

[He doesn't mind explaining it to her; the question isn't a stupid one and anyone willing to let him show off is absolutely fine in his book. Even if it is Lusamine.]

I'm sure there are plenty of other ways to keep your life interesting besides ridiculous memories. But now I'm curious... Would you care to share any of your out-of-context dreams?

[ Killia knows not one bit about what's proper, as half of his moves are one's he just kinda made up himself. He also managed to avoid punching Mikazuku's face because he really didn't want to hit him there, though he probably hit him somewhere else as a result. Also give him a second to respond because they're a bit tangled between wings and all of the layers Mikazuki wears. It's a good thing he can just let said wings relax into a scarf otherwise they might have needed someones help.]

Ah yeah, I didn't think you'd do something like that. It was fun though. [ But from the sound of it he doesn't really mind either. He takes a moment and then stands up, offering the swordspirit a hand without really thinking of it, to help him stand up.]

Well, the Dark Mages are almost all members of the Grimleal, so I wouldn't be surprised. I'm genuinely shocked that this isn't purple and covered in weird eye patterns.

The ones I've had really just prove that I need better taste in people or something - I'm pretty sure I was so interested in following Kira around because he reminded me of a guy I knew back home. He's my superior officer now, I guess, because he got me reinstated to the military.

[Judy hears Vanille before she speaks, her ears swiveling before she lifts her head. She looks tired, but wired to the point of being unable to sleep at the same time.]

Lilligant is a little surprised when Silver comes up, but...beams? Beams. She points to her own feet--well, little roots, rather, and to his own legs with a questioning expression. It seems like she's confused on whether she'll need them to go out to where everyone else is...?]

[ She'd been looking at the bracelet for so long that when Elda comes over, it startles her a little. ]

O-Oh...that's... That's something I made for Chiyuki-san.

[ Orihime has a matching one around her wrist, though her bracelets are covered up by the sleeve of her uniform. ]

Chiyuki-san was my friend, so I wanted to make something for her.
