WEEK 4.

WEEK 4 Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. I think I'm the lucky one. Yuuri is an incredible person and I almost can't believe he's never dated anyone before.

[She hears the name and that must be what's on her mind. Estelle wonders if she received a memory related to this 'Rika'. Oh, what a memory it must be to bring down a god. Little by little, her intolerance for the Wordsmith grows more and more.]

We're going to get out of here and then we can do what we need to do!

Though now that makes me worry about what will happen to him if I- if we don't manage to get out of here.

[If Watanuki dies, someone else can take care of Mugetsu. If everyone dies, does the Wordsmith get him?]

I guess my assumption about "magic" being a science was right, then.

Still, if she's worth her salt it'd definitely be possible for her if she worked at it. I'm pretty well-acquainted with a great scientist myself, although... he's a bit of a hardhead.

[Varric gave the food a look, then glanced up at Watanuki. An attempt at smiling was made, but came out as nothing more than the faint lifting of his lip. He took the place and carried it to his desk, where he sat and toyed with it.]

[If the taller man was particularly astute, he might notice that the phone in Varric's room has been shifted around, to be closer to his desk.]

I would rather have you be optimistic than anything else. I want to believe they are not in this situation and are safe.

[She smiles at him. To be honest, she appreciates this a lot.]

I think "kind of" is putting it lightly. But, I get what you mean.

[ She lets out a little laugh. ]

So, did you ever figure out who the guy in your dream was?

Well, it did lead to an unintentional kiss. I suppose that is a commonality.

[Watanuki is going to go ahead and slip into the room, since Varric hasn't told him otherwise or closed the door or anything. He will push it shut behind him though, trying to be at least somewhat discreet about it. He's pretty sure shouting is going to happen, and the soundproof rooms will be handy for that.

He does notice the phone, by the way.]

It had a sample of Radical-6 in it. It's a highly contagious virus with two primary symptoms.

[Both of which are... a thing.]

First, it diminishes the brain's processing power, essentially slowing down the infected's perception of time. Everything else looks like it's in fast-forward.

We could, however, I don't have a sword right now. Just... guns.

I-I remembered the first last week, and I-I thought- I thought I saved her, b-because... I just wanted her to live, s-so...something happened and I... i-it was like I rewound time.

But, it...the result didn't change...!
