WEEK 4.

WEEK 4 Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. Or perhaps just more means to get creative with regards to how you take initiative with your fellow Apprentices. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 23 APPRENTICES REMAINING: 22 APPRENTICES REMAINING: 20

[ For someone like Elda, rough on the edges--even she's lost someone here. It must be painful for her, too. Orihime puts a hand on her shoulder reassuringly. ]

Oh-- [Goodness, that's a little--she really was focused, right.] Forgive me for the start. I have been in here for a few minutes. I came in here and changed and then decided to jump in.

Are you enjoying yourself, at least?

That is actually pretty amazing. And you two do those things for your jobs?

[He still doesn't quite get the whole pokemon world, but he's trying.]

[Watanuki Is done cooking though, and suddenly food! He even makes four full plates, so the non-humans don't have to steal from the humans' plates.]

Er...sorta? He doesn't really have nine tails right now though.

Watanuki looks a little embarrassed for a moment, and he glances away as he answers Orihime.]

Ah, well, sure. If it's what you want. We could do that tonight.

[Thursday night he has other plans, but the rest of the nights he is free!]

[That. That is actually enough to snap him out of that lovey-dovey thing he had going on. He lowers the papers so he can actually look at Orihime now.]

I...that's not a bad idea. I was thinking of doing the same thing for Chiyuki too.

[In fact, that's the letter he has in his hand.]

The shadow in the wall, Kageshirou? I asked it if it could take letters to people, and it said no.

Okay! Do you want to go ahead and set up? I'll go with you so I can open the door!

[ That shadow--Kageshirou--only seems invested in...taking people away? Repairing the wall? ]

That letter was from Chiyuki-san, right? So, hopefully we'll be able to write back.

Oh yes, it seems that did happen to the prince. He turned into a monster as did his servants. Rather they turned into objects. I also recall there is a man who wishes to marry her, but she keeps refusing him.

[An index finger taps her bottom lip.]

I do wonder if it will end the same? I hope they get a happy ending like in this book. A shame the other man had to die, however, given he's a villain, it's how they usually end up getting written in literature.

No, I'm leaving that to Phi, Kimbley, and Hanyuu; they have more experience with bodies than I do. But it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

Ehhh, they're less jobs and more like area of expertise, but it is pretty handy for when I'm helpin' out at the Daycare south of Goldenrod. We are worthy of havin' Pokédex 'cause of them though.

[it isn't like he had a breakdown when he was eleven over not having his own title or anything. totally. so not important.]

Most people don't get to even see a Pokédex in their lifetime! That's how big we are at home.

Alright... You're still trying, though, and you've been a real help during investigations, so thank you Nikiforov-san.

[ She really means it. The smile on her lips is all-telling.

And...before she forgets: Orihime reaches into her blazer and pulls out a bracelet. This one is gray, blue, and black--Viktor's colors. ]

Ahaha, I only found scissors from the sewing room...maybe that's why it didn't turn out so well!
