It seems that each week is getting harder than the last. You've lost three of your number already this week, and that's before anyone seems to have tried to take the Wordsmith up on his offer – and from the look of it, the incentive has tempted quite a few of you, perhaps even more than the usual. But now, the week is coming to an end; maybe it's too much to hope for that it's passed without anyone killing one another. Maybe it isn't. Only time will tell. The chimes ring out, signaling the hour as they always do; the day seems reasonably normal, with the first three floors of the building seeming clear enough. However, those of you wishing to make absolutely sure may want to head a bit lower down. It's possible that you'll find nothing down there; the more jaded of you will probably suspect otherwise. Either way, there's no point in keeping the possibility open when you can confirm it for yourselves, is there? >Explore?

[ Well, someone had fallen victim to the motive, and it was a shame, no matter who had expired. Mikazuki will be heading closer to look upon Kimbley's dead body. Now, what kind of obvious wounds or other important details will he be able to detect just by a cursory glance? ]

[That depends on where you want to start - there's some very obvious clothing damage and some very obvious physical injuries, what is his attention drawn to first?]

[ He will next be probably checking the obvious clothing damage to see what is going on with that first. ]

[It looks like a good amount of his clothing was burned somehow. Most of the damage is lower down, near his legs, and while there is (fortunately?) a lot of fabric, the synthetic fibers did...not take well to it, let's put it that way.

It's worth noting also that he usually keeps his sleeves rolled up, now is no exception to that, and there are some burns on the exposed skin there as well.

...It's likewise worth noting that his clothing is absolutely soaked.]

Anyway, Mikazuki probably will take a closer look at those burns. How bad are they? Do they look like standard burns from a normal fire, or something less standard (etc. chemical ones if he is able to tell that sort of thing). ]

[They look like they were caused by fire as opposed to something caustic like acid, yes. And they're...pretty bad. Not like "burned for several minutes" bad, but definitely not negligible either.]

Alright, he'll move on from those, and take a look at the other obvious physical injuries that may be present. What else may he be looking at here? ]

[It looks like at one point he may have sustained a hell of a head injury; it's positioned fairly low - at about the spot where the skull meets the neck, for reference.

However, it's difficult to tell how bad it is, because it looks like someone tried to bandage it at some point.]

[Mikazuki...has the body. Hanyuu had said she could, but- ...she doesn't want to, not now.

So she's going to look around the room. Let's start with that water, that's a good place, right?]

[There's some around the cot in general, some near one of the cabinets where the medical supplies are, and a large concentration of it not near anything in particular.

[Well, she's closest to the cots so let's start there and move out, shall we?]

[There's blood in the water around it; more like traces as opposed to a huge amount, but still. Blood.]

[Everyone's favorite substance, awesome. Does the water look like it leads from anywhere? ...Like, is it making a path from the door or anything, or does it look like it's dripped off the cot to the floor?]

[The water around the cot looks like it may have dripped off, but there is a trail of it looking like it's coming from the door, yes, and it's similarly bloodied.]

[Thanks for the clarification! If that's all that's of note about the cot-water, Hanyuu will check out...oh, how about the water strangely not near anything, that seems suspicious.]

[There's a larger concentration of water over here, once again not near anything important. There's no blood whatsoever in it, not even traces of it; it's just a fairly clear puddle of water over here for no discernible reason.

... She's taking one and then heading to look in the other cabinets of the room and such. ]

For reference, the cabinets are the standard medical ones with the relatively thin metal doors - and it looks like one of them is dented.]

... Well clearly that one is suspicious! She does make to go and try and open that, but before that she also holds her fist up to the dent. Is it the sort of dent which would be made by punching it?

... This is indeed her first thought.

[...Actually, as odd as the punching idea may seem, it's entirely possible that that is what caused it, so good job on that. As for it being wet...slightly so, though not in as large a concentration as it is elsewhere in the room.]
