[True to that, there are a variety of foods. It's nothing too fancy. Rice, grilled fish, eggs in various styles. ...No creampuffs this time, it seems Hanyuu thought that would be a little in poor taste. Also a bunch of fries? ...Really spicy fries, like incredibly so.

I still don't know how such a thing is possible. It's like somehow this entire place is bending reality.

It very well may be. With all of the evidence we've found of time travel, I don't think this place is really...truly reality.

Time travel...

[She sounds like she doesn't believe it.]

Even for Gems, such a thing is impossible. There are ways to bend light in order to speed up a journey-- light speed is a measure of distance, after all. A journey that would take decades can take only a few minutes in the right circumstances, but "time travel" doesn't imply time going in one direction.

Some of these rooms seem older than others. Our bedroooms are...a little outdated, but places like the kitchen have more modern technology....isn't it strange?
