WEEK 6 With the deaths of Viktor Nikiforov, Varric Tethras, and Killia, you're down to half of your original number. There's only fifteen of you left. How much longer before your number drops again? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, that doesn't mean that you've gained nothing else among the many, many losses you've faced; it seems that another floor has been made available to you for surviving another week. [It's not that Phi doesn't see the appeal of the greenhouse - much like Rhizome 9's botanical garden, it's good to have something approximating an outdoor environment after all these weeks of indoors.]

I did, but the longer I'm here the more I felt like it was the wrong wish. Now I'm stuck wishing that I could undo the wish I made.

Well, I wouldn't know, but. Yeah, I'd have to say the best thing about Ula'ula is Po Town. Po Town friggin' rules.

Greenhouse

[ So she was mostly down to check the chapel... but then she goes into the greenhouse. She doesn't know what to make of this room. But she comes in anyway, mostly because she saw a glimpse of Silver's one bird.

... Okay.

Also Elda is in a fucking maid outfit which is too big on her for some reason.

So the brat is here... ]

[ But she doesn't advance. HEHEHE. ]

[Well, alright. Silver turns his head to his Pokémon, starts to nod his head to signal them off, then reconsiders the decision.]

Uh, go ahead. I'll catch up.

[...The Pokémon are a little reluctant to leave Silver, but they do scoot out eventually.]

So uh, what's up? You want some ice cream?

[Silver's currently holding up Weavile so he can pull oranges out of trees! He'll hold Weavile out, and Weavile offers Phi one.]

It's nice having some plants in here, isn't it?

INVESTIGATION

[That incentive's...worrying, but sitting and dwelling on it won't do any good. That's what Hanyuu's memories have taught her. Instead, she's going to go about her day. An early stop to the vending machine gets her some interesting items!

...So a few outfits (some she can place, others she can't), some weapons, some alcohol, and two cardboard cutouts of Viktor. Those who find her when she receives such things will see a rather shocked Hanyuu but it shifts to...confusion? General annoyance? ...A hint of a blush? Viktor, your hot bod haunts her, even after your death.

Unlike usual, however, one of those unique items she has a good idea of who it belongs to, mostly from the handwriting and a general knowledge of the person in question- so she goes and searches out Orihime with a notebook in hand. She'll look everywhere she can.

After all that, her destination is the chapel. She's only seen it completely destroyed before, thanks Elda, so now... Well, it's time to start looking around. Under the pews, near the raised area in the front, wherever.

...And in the evening, she's in the kitchen, making mochi. Killia left her a recipe after all, right?]

Oh, okay. Makes sense, make sense.

...so maybe we should see if anyone knows how to make a certain kind of cookie. I think he'd like those... ladyfingers.

[feistytrader]

[The brat is in fact here! He's in a tree, in fact, and he pokes his head out of a branch when he hears Elda come in.]

Hey.

[He doesn't make any attempts to move.]

You can't do it.

[Nope, no ice cream today. Just Watanuki being unusually firm in his speaking. This isn't like the times when he's gotten upset before, this is calmer and much closer to the kind of determination that's only really been seen in him at trials.

This is probably also why he didn't want the pokemon here, and why he left Mugetsu back in his room too.]

You can't even consider it, not for a moment. He lies, you know. He's expecting someone to break, and it's not going to be you.

Watanuki tucks the letter away to share later, at the meeting.]

TUESDAY MEETING TIME

Let's meet in the conference room at 6pm today.

[Sort, sweet, and to the point. Watanuki isn't as eloquent as the others, so he's not even going to try prettying up the notes he slides under everyone's doors.

Funnily enough, when people do file in and get settled for the meeting, Watanuki suddenly has trouble finding his voice. But after a moment he clears his throat and starts talking.]

So. Um.

Anyone find anything important this week?

I found a key. It's friggin' bronze, but hey. It's a key.

[feistytrader]

Oh, oh, that's what you're worried about. Okay.

[He... doesn't really seem to be taking it seriously. His face is kind of flushed, and if Watanuki's close enough, he can definitely tell that Silver smells a little bit like alcohol.]

It's okay. I'm not gonna do anything.

That means we have bronze, silver, and gold now. And we still haven't found any locks for them.

[feistytrader]

We do tend to wander around together.

[He's not that close yet, but he will be stepping in, so it's only a matter of time before he smells it.]

I'm being serious, Silver. You wouldn't make it through the trial. I saw through you last time, and I would again.

[He hates bringing that up, but he wants Silver to understand how serious he is being here.]

...well, probably, given that one rule about how we can't hit him unless he gives us permission.

But you can beat down anyone with the right tactics, right.

What about that locked door near the stairwell?

I'm planning on looking in the chapel later tonight, but... I was wondering who has been keeping correspondence with the Wordsmith. I've learned a few things from him that may seem inconsequential on their own, but perhaps, I thought, someone else could have another piece of the puzzle.

[...That's... Something, at least, and Silver has his head flat down on the table as he speaks. Some boozy mistakes may have been made.]

All of her class is gone, but she's around for some reason. She can talk to our friends.

That one might end up open whenever somebody dies and somebody else gets executed this week, I guess.

[he sounds frustrated, like he's talking about fucking taxes.]

I found a lockbox. It's got a password thing.

Also I've been trying to narrow down how we send out letters to the dead. I got a response, and I'm testing the followup but didn't get a response yet.
