WEEK 6.
With the deaths of Viktor Nikiforov, Varric Tethras, and Killia, you're down to half of your original number. There's only fifteen of you left. How much longer before your number drops again? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, that doesn't mean that you've gained nothing else among the many, many losses you've faced; it seems that another floor has been made available to you for surviving another week. Congratulations and well done, even if you might not necessarily appreciate the reward. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week six of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]
SUNDAY
INVESTIGATION
fuck. okay. time to just... go ahead. it's a Sunday. Sunday, Sunday, Sunday. It's time... to visit the new floor.
Unfortunately, it's not really Guzma's speed, but he'll look over it anyway. He and Masquerain actually spend a fair amount of time in the greenhouse, though, given that the Bug Pokemon is very into fruit and flowers and is spending some time flitting around in there. The other two are mostly carnivores, so they'd just be bored in comparison.
After that, time to look through the library to see if there are any cool books. Unfortunately, they all seem kinda boring to him, but hey. He'll investigate with the assistance of Ariados, who's scurrying up the bookshelves to check the higher shelves. MAYBE THERE'S A SWITCH OR SOMETHING IN ONE OF THE BOOKS. HE DOESN'T KNOW.]

Oh, hello. This is quite the nice place they've added in, isn't it?

Her memory along with what happened? She may not be capable of approaching others for a while, let alone trying to find and comfort those in need.
There is a moment where she leaves her room in the morning to the room next door, room 28, but that time is brief as is her time in that room. She just wanted to get something and leave.
After that, she will be locking herself in room 29. Though if anyone comes by, she will answer the door.]

After she wakes, she lets Hanyuu know she's up and at 'em, by leaving a note for her. Hanyuu's been through a heck of a lot, there's no need to worry her needlessly. Vanille does end up bringing Hanyuu breakfast in bed, though, once she thinks about it. It's rice and vegetables, but there's also fruit and eggs and toast, too. And a cup of vanilla tea with some cream and sugar in it. She might talk to Hanyuu a while, but feel free to find Vanille coming out of room 20 with a tray in hand.
And after that, she decides to investigate the new floor. She checks out exactly one room before she falls in love completely. This is her home now and nothing can take this from her. Therefore, Vanille will be spending most of her day in the greenhouse, occasionally coming out to grab a bite to eat in the kitchen. ]
That Room 20 prompt
...
And that sure was a girl coming out of Hanyuu's room. Elda feels a strange mix of things thing, a gratefulness that means someone was checking on Hanyuu other than her (though after the last trial that's sort of obvious) and - well, some other feeling she doesn't want to examine. Being friends is hard, okay. Particularly when you're a hateful old vampire.
However, all of that comes together to see a small imp of a woman basically glaring something she doesn't realize is a tired looking death glare at the girl as she needs to pass her to get anywhere else down the hall.
... Oh wait, she's coming towards her. ]
Good morning.

Elda wakes up from a terrible, foreboding dream (memory) which leaves her with even more questions than she had last week, questions which don't make any sense. She wakes up with that damned clock, but then tries hard to go back to sleep. It's no surprise to anyone that she doesn't actually get out of her room until around 11 or so. It's actually a little earlier than normal, but she couldn't ... well. She couldn't get back to sleep. First things first though, she's going to get dressed in that outfit that Silver made for her (a purple skirt and tank-top), fix her hair and nails, put on and accessory or two (namely one of the bracelets and a scarab broach from the machine) and then- knock on Silver (well, Gold)'s door.
If he's there, she's demanding something. If he's not then she's hunting his sorry ass down.
After that?
Well, it's a terrible no good very bad day. So she heads down to the new floor to see what's there, and when she finds that there's a chapel here, even a nondenominational one like this... Well. This thing'll fix itself anyway, right? So she's going to gather up some things from the art room and the war hammer from her room (SURPRISE?!) and she's going to trash the fuck out of it. She's going to use her strength and the war hammer to smash all the pews, whatever alter is in here, and whatever other furniture is in the room. Then she's going to plug her nose with cotton balls and spend the rest of her time spraypainting the room with hateful, blasphemous graffiti. The former action might not be able to be heard given the soundproof walls! But to try and help the smell she does wedge the doors open for the second part! So uh? Enjoy? Feel free to spot her at any point during this adventure, including her dragging the supplies down.
And then finally, later in the night, Elda's going to go back and sulk in her room. She's left the door open, and you might smell her nail polish. She's redoing her coat there, some of it having cracked a bit from a hard day's labor. ]

'Even though someone has been taking care of me since I was little, do I not remember their face because it's all a dream?'

DON'T DISAPPEAR
----------------------------------------------------------
He's not crying when he wakes up, but it's only thanks to certain things he's talked about and decided in the last couple of weeks that he isn't. He's breathing heavily, though, and he sits up right away.
...and then he remembers the tangled mess of a sleeping arrangement he's in.
So after he's handled extracting himself from bed and reassuring anyone he may have woken up, he goes out and heads down the hall to Room 9. He actually makes it all the way to the door and holds his hand up to knock before he remembers that nobody's going to answer it. He'll have to stand there for a few moments before he's okay enough again to walk away from there.
Later he can be found in the mail room, writing out a bunch of letters. Like seriously, he's writing over a dozen of them. Most of them are put into the mailbox, but one he carries with him back to Varric's room to stick under the pillow there. Maybe he'll get that letter. Watanuki hopes he does.
Finally, Watanuki can be found down in the new library, browsing the shelves and looking for anything better than what the other library has. It's going to be a fruitless search, but he wants to at least try. And by then his stomach is growling too. He hasn't eaten particularly well since Friday, and his body is starting to voice it's displeasure over that. Watanuki is pointedly ignoring it, though.]

Stay here, Weavile.

"So I don't have even a month to live?!"
"If creating a miracle were that simple...neither of us would be suffering like this."
"If you get your hopes up, you'll only be hurt when they come crashing down. It's better to accept the fate you can't fight against."
"There's never been a world like this one."
There's no point living in a world without Satoko.
"We can't relive this world unless you and I both wish it! I don't want to go to a world without you! I don't want to go to a world where I'm alone!"
"Are you watching? I'm going to tear down my destiny. And I'm going to do so right where you can see!"
"Rika... Rika... We failed again...! I wanted to go too! I wanted to go to the and have fun with everyone too. Au...!"
"I'll never forget anything that happened in this world!"
'The reason there was no miracle is that there was someone who didn't believe. Did you believe? Did you believe...that we could beat destiny?'
'No... Are you saying it's my fault? I'm...not one of you!'
'If you've been with us this whole time, then you're already one of us.'
'Let's go Hanyuu. You believe too. If you do, we can make a miracle. We can get there.'
The world shines. The world...is shining...
Hanyuu is groggy. She is groggy, but for the first time in two weeks, after a lovely breakfast with Vanille, she is out early and exploring. For the first time in two weeks, she smiles, and the smile on her face doesn't surprise her. Something shines in her, the whole day, despite what they've been through. Something like hope.
The new floor is a great place to start the day. She spends some time in the new library, looking through books and comparing. Taking note of larger books of fairy tales, to read later. She spends much of the day in the greenhouse, sitting beneath the trees and breathing deep, writing something on a pad of paper in her lap. She seems content.
After that, she stops in the foyer to remove old food and add more things to the shrine, though it seems she has to make a few trips. A book of fairy tales. A chessboard. Feather pens, from the vending machine. Bitter tea, freshly brewed. A shot glass. A spare 8-ball from the billiards room. An empty beaker from the chemistry room. Bandages, and fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies. Carrots, caterpillar-kun from the ending machine. A crossbow from the shooting range. A pair of roller slippers. More sakura blossoms. And a whole armful of daisies from the greenhouse.
...She stands in front of it for awhile, considering, and staring at the profiles. Seems she's preoccupied with Kira's...?]

Mikazuki dimly recalls last night. This is why he was in Gangrel's room. Well, he was so out of sorts that he barely remembers anything he did.
The only thing he can vividly recall after the trial is the man helping him to his feet, and then...heading back here after wandering the halls some time later. He supposed his mind was still having a hard time coping.
Thinking about the dream, he reaches for the picture he's carried on him, his eyes focused on Yasuada's person... and the thought is, Ah... that's strange. In the dream, all evidence of his person had been erased from every photo, but here...well...
It calms him down somewhat, regarding the state of things back home, but as a few more tears drip onto the photo, he's seemingly content on sitting in silence in the room.
...
When Mikazuki is able to get it together enough to head out of his room-- no, Gangrel's room -- he goes to try to take it easy, letting himself wander wherever he may feel his feet taking him. He's also going to be wearing new clothes from now on. First he stops by the profiles, and at that point, he's halted by the sight of the things written for the newly dead. His eyes are drawn to Killia's in particular. He needs to find out who did this.
If he sees people walk by he'll speak up. ]
Ah, excuse me...
[ After that, Mikazuki manages to head into the garden, because he ends up wandering into here eventually. He has the painting that Killia's done, and he's probably trying to find more sakura blossoms in here... or something. He gets distracted by staring at most of the flowers, though.
Later on, he can be found in the dojo, and he's swinging one of those ineffective iron blades, but he just manages to sigh to himself, not feeling into it. He'll even lower the blade, and right after head to the bar for a quick drink. ]

obviously, Sportacus is going to be spending the majority of his day in the greenhouse. he's climbing the trees like a child, hanging out on the upper boughs of the tree and eating the fruit from them. he's sitting among the flowers, humming tunelessly and periodically waving a hand over them. nothing happens, but he doesn't seem to expect it to. he's just fucking chilling in general it's a great goddamn day.]
