WEEK 6
With the deaths of Viktor Nikiforov, Varric Tethras, and Killia, you're down to half of your original number. There's only fifteen of you left.

How much longer before your number drops again?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Of course, that doesn't mean that you've gained nothing else among the many, many losses you've faced; it seems that another floor has been made available to you for surviving another week.

Congratulations and well done, even if you might not necessarily appreciate the reward.

I'm sure he'll grow out of it. Or at least you'll be sure to set him straight.

Honestly, I don't mind him going that which way to get his meals. It's a little tacky, but he'll grow into a dependable man yet, I'm sure of it.

[ She shakes her head ]

As for little Anju, she's only eleven and really looks much like her mother in some ways. I don't know how to feel about that doll-like hair and those features of hers, but she really is cute! And talented - she's not awoken as a vampire but can command bats even better than I could at her age, and she's a savant when it comes to ghosts. I don't know who relies on who more between her and her older sister.

That's really impressive! [pause] Can vampires normally do things with ghosts?

Not really, that's a fairly unique talent!

[ She claps her hands together ]

It's not unheard of, but I've never heard of anyone with her talent. She's kept dozens of them in her dolls.

... In the dolls? [considers...] Binding spirits sounds like very difficult magic. That's incredible!

... She does let them go eventually, of course. [PLEASE...]

It is, isn't it?! [ She laughs ] I don't know, really! I know she carries one around constantly though, so I'm sure she's befriended that one, at least. I doubt he wants to go anywhere.

As long as everyone's happy with it and she lets them go if they want to, it's okay.

Well they're ghosts, where else would they go? I imagine having someone to talk to is rare.

Under rocks. In fields. I don't think they really talk to people; they mostly just scream.

... Other ghosts might be different. I am not exactly an expert.
