WEEK 6.
With the deaths of Viktor Nikiforov, Varric Tethras, and Killia, you're down to half of your original number. There's only fifteen of you left. How much longer before your number drops again? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, that doesn't mean that you've gained nothing else among the many, many losses you've faced; it seems that another floor has been made available to you for surviving another week. Congratulations and well done, even if you might not necessarily appreciate the reward. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week six of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]
MONDAY
Investigation
Or even, though propriety might forbid it, the men's changing room if all else fails. ]

If she shakes it, does it make any noise? And either way, she's looking around that locker it's in to see if there's anything else in there. ]

Either way, once she's collected herself, she leaves for a little while. Long enough to gather a pencil and a sketchpad. Vanille makes her way back down to the new library and takes a seat at one of the tables. She doesn't write anything for a while, instead opting to think, but before too long, she starts to write.
They'd escaped the school that had become more of a prison. Despite all the accommodations provided, the group of thirty squinted into the sunlight many of them so craved. Beside one of the many redheads, the dwarf flashed a grin and motioned to the seven who stood not too far from them. A man, holding his son who looked so strikingly like he. A tall blond holding the hand of a much smaller young lady, whose pink hair and blue eyes matched another's, who stood stern and strong and tall with her arms crossed. A woman with piercing green eyes and a cocky smile, whose posture suggested smugness. A young boy with hair white as snow and a shy sort of smile.
The dwarf nudged the redhead next to him and gave her a grin.
"Those your friends, Bubbles?"
"Yep." Vanille wanted to run forward, to draw them all into a hug, but she showed a remarkable sense of restraint. "Want to meet 'em? I bet Lightning would get a kick out of you. Though, she might smack you around a little bit if she gets too annoyed."
Varric chuckled and nudged her forward. "For a beautiful woman, Bubbles, anything."
... she writes some more, and she might end up crying here and there. It's not the full-chest sobs, just silent tears she wipes away when things get too much. She also works on some other stories: Lightning coming in to kick the shadowcreature's butt, Snow punching the heck out of the Wordsmith... there are a lot of things going on.
She does go to the kitchen every so often; she has plenty of snacks in the library, but she needs tea. So she'll heat up water, then take a pot of tea with her back down to the library. ]

[...it's rude to just look over someone's shoulder, so...]
Hey. Whatcha writing.

[ she got it! ]
I'm writing some stories. I'm no Varric, but I'm trying!

So when Vanille enters, she'll see Estelle in there making curry. Lots and lots of curry.]
What kind of tea are you making?
no subject
[ It's been a while since they really talked, but she's glad to see her. Vanille decides to pour her a cup of tea. ]
It's hazelnut. Figured I'd give it a try, even though I'm not sure what it is, exactly!

"What do you think?"
Lusamine's been manic ever since her dream on Sunday. It's an odd contrast to what has been happening--she doesn't know how her mood simply keeps soaring, after all of this messy business. It's the main reason she didn't leave much, but...
Today, she can honestly be found out and about walking from morning to night with an incredible amount of manic energy to her. She just can't sit still because it feels like she's going to explode. With what, she's not certain.
Her movement takes her to a few places throughout the day, rotating between them--she starts off in the new Library, scouring through the books with a look of slight frustration. She could have accepted the first library being full of fiction, but both of them...it's irritating.]
How annoying...it's all so useless.
[Another place in rotation is the Greenhouse, and she appears to be looking around at literally everything. The sanctuary had many different plants growing throughout, but there are so many different flowers and fruits and vegetables in here, it's insane. It's a pretty good distraction, to look around at them--one might even find her with a few pieces of fruit in hand, munching away on it. They're different to what she's used to, and so intriguing...
The last place in rotation is the Chemistry Lab--much like clockwork with her. She usually uses the room to rest a little bit and write, working like a busy Beedrill.]
library
[ hello mom thing, don't mind orihime suddenly appearing right next to you! she's here to check out the new floor, too, but...it's almost the same as the other one. huh. ]
no subject
Oh, it's really nothing, sweet Orihime. I was simply hoping that this floor would have some scientific text...

[Hanyuu's rather fond of the greenhouse it seems, having brought her lunch here to eat! Impromptu picnic.]
no subject
Oh, I'm used to the conservation area being full of beautiful greenery...these plants are like nothing I have seen before. Aren't they simply beautiful, Ms. Furude?
[She almost wants to pick flowers, like a small child...]
The only thing missing from this is a nice bright sun, to bring out the color of everything here.

[Hahaha, just kidding. He actually came in here because he figured she'd be in here.
...But since Lusamine looks super busy, he'll just take a seat nearby without touching her work.]
no subject
Perhaps it's simply another thing to get used to. It's not disturbing my writing any, so I suppose I could allow it.
[She's definitely writing busily, toward the back of the sketchbook this time around--but she seems to pause for a bit when he sits nearby, switching to a page more toward the middle of the book. It's got writing in it already, at least.]

library
[Jasper picks up the nearest book on the shelf-- some novel about a society who lives underground, apparently, from the title.]
I'm beginning to wonder if this is a deliberate attempt to hide the level of technology in the Wordsmith's world.
no subject
That would not surprise me even slightly. I could perhaps find it acceptable that there was nothing downstairs, but both of these libraries...really, this is insulting! He should consider putting some variety on these shelves!

It's not like she can ask the person who gave her the recipe for help anymore...
Later in the day, people will see her adding ingredients to the dish and tasting it in between that, like she's taking every little tiny step to make it the way it's supposed to be made, that she has just the right amount. By the end of the day, about an hour before the evening chime rings, she's finally done. She's figured out the measurements and directions for this curry and she'll go to the dining room for a very late dinner.]
Dining Room
Okay a lot later.
When Estelle is sitting down to eat. And she comes bearing a ... gift?
She sets down a Blue Ram Reverse Energy Drink can she got from the vending machine and slides it over to the girl ]
Would that go with it?
no subject
What is it? It may.
[Her voice sounds tired, but at least she sounds like she's in a lot better mood than she has been-- well, not that anyone's seen her since the trial, but yes.]

[ she's entering the kitchen right as estelle pours out what appears to be...curry? it smells like curry, definitely.
suddenly, she realizes what might be happening. tentatively, orihime approaches her with curious eyes. ]
You're...hard at work, aren't you?
no subject
She nods as she pours the bowl, testing the taste...
No, still not quite right.]
