WEEK 6 With the deaths of Viktor Nikiforov, Varric Tethras, and Killia, you're down to half of your original number. There's only fifteen of you left. How much longer before your number drops again? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, that doesn't mean that you've gained nothing else among the many, many losses you've faced; it seems that another floor has been made available to you for surviving another week. I don't think explaining or giving directions were his strong point.

[The texture she's likely feeling is a bit lumpy, but it's mostly smooth overall.]

I could have told you that. Your cooking less was far better!

[firstaid]

Even so, I'm glad I was able to make it.

[Even if she totally hogged the kitchen and it was an all day endeavor.]

[matchbreaker]

Yeah, I bet.

[ Most of her little finger experiment has dripped out onto the table, but with a sigh to brings up the tip to her mouth and-

Ugh.

She spits out that little bit immediately. Ugh. ]

[firstaid]

[Estelle figured that it would taste ashy like that. It's of no offense to her.]

It was also a good practice cooking like this. Even at home, I worked hard and practiced my skills everyday.

[matchbreaker]

Profession or passion?

[ She said, trying to sound smug as she's taking a napkin to scrape off her tongue. Such dignity ]

[firstaid]

Oh, um... I suppose a passion? When I was traveling with my friends, we had to cook, and I learned how to through that!

[And through diligence and hard work she managed to become a decent cook.]

[matchbreaker]

Ah, that's right. Traveling humans would need to cook if they didn't have someone to force all that work on, wouldn't they.

[ She laughs ] I wonder if all those soldiers could cook, I never thought of that.

[firstaid]

We did go to restaurants at times, and two of my friends are excellent cooks, but we couldn't just keep continuing to force them to cook. So we all made sure to pitch in when we could.

[And her two friends are amazing at cooking. They make meals that taste like they could have been restaurant quality.]

Not all soldiers can cook, though. I believe they usually have a head chef for them since they are hired by an association or empire.

[matchbreaker]

[ Elda nods, processing both ends up that information. She seems to have scraped off her tongue enough to get rid of the ashy taste, but she's still licking her lips and around her mouth to get the thing feeling wet and comfortable again. Ugh. ]

If they're good at it, Iunno why they couldn't just keep doing it... [ But she does get not wanting to force them. ] Still, it's good to be independent, even for Bubblegum.

[firstaid]

Well, I don't want to make others think they must care for me when I'm capable of doing it myself.

[She may have been a sheltered princess, but she very much appreciates her independence.]

[matchbreaker]

[ You know, she likes the sentiment. Actually, approves of it. But she runs a hand over the table, digging her nails a little ]

Did you have something to prove?

[firstaid]

[Estelle thinks on that for a moment, then shakes her head.]

No, I don't believe that I do other than showing the knights and the council that I'm perfectly capable of being outside of the castle and their supervision.

[matchbreaker]

[ She... laughs at that. Her wahaha evil old lady laugh! She's not sure if that's supreme lack of self-awareness on her part or a lot of self-assurance. Elda digs her nails in a bit further, but. Wow. ]

And did you accomplish that?!

[firstaid]

[She shakes her head.]

Honestly, I'm not sure. If you asked me before my dreams happened, I would have said yes... however, I'm honestly rethinking that a lot.

[matchbreaker]

Three steps forward, two back?

[ She offers, her nails still dancing on the table ]

[firstaid]

I suppose that is a way to describe it.

[She takes another spoonful of curry.]

[matchbreaker]

Does that mean you have a different way to put it?

[firstaid]

It feels like even though I'm taking steps forward, what I truly am is holding me back.

[matchbreaker]

.... Nobility?

[ What she truly is??? ]

[firstaid]

[She shakes her head.]

I'm what's called a Child of the Full Moon. It seems... I am a deadly weapon as much as I am a healer.

[That's what she's going to say for now.]

... What. You're a Moon person?
