WEEK 6.
With the deaths of Viktor Nikiforov, Varric Tethras, and Killia, you're down to half of your original number. There's only fifteen of you left. How much longer before your number drops again? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, that doesn't mean that you've gained nothing else among the many, many losses you've faced; it seems that another floor has been made available to you for surviving another week. Congratulations and well done, even if you might not necessarily appreciate the reward. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week six of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

Her memory along with what happened? She may not be capable of approaching others for a while, let alone trying to find and comfort those in need.
There is a moment where she leaves her room in the morning to the room next door, room 28, but that time is brief as is her time in that room. She just wanted to get something and leave.
After that, she will be locking herself in room 29. Though if anyone comes by, she will answer the door.]
room 29
He'll knock gently on her door. ]
Hello?
no subject
Last week everything was so reassuring. This week, it's like she's being told to trust no one, let alone herself.
When she hears the knock on the door, she'll be good and open it this time just so she doesn't worry others. Perhaps a fake smile and a 'she's okay' will suffice.
She opens her door and peeks through the crack of the opening. Seeing Mikazuki there... she's not sure how to feel right now.]
Ah, h-hello...
[She'll open the door a little more and she'll smile. It's forced, but it's there. However, it's definitely not open enough for anyone to get out or get in. Whatever it is, it appears she's rather guarded.]
no subject
May we talk? If not in your room, then mine?
[ He feels awkward, carrying out a conversation here. He doesn't know whether his suggestion will work, but he has to try. He's used to Estelle just letting him, and so... ]
no subject
Though right now it's not just about Killia being gone -- it's now about can she trust Mikazuki. Who will betray her now? Because clearly even some of her friends and those she thought she could trust back home... they betrayed her. And it's even worse here. She's now just realized that. Any hope she held on to, it's gone. She doesn't know if she lives back home... if she's going to be given a death sentence no matter what.]
Wh-what do you need to talk about?
[The door closes slightly, but she's still peeking out. It's clear... she's paranoid.]
no subject
That's not the kind of reaction he's expected. Now, if it hadn't been after what's recently happened, it probably wouldn't be so hard on him, but right as of this moment, it hurts. Still, he'll be trying his best. ]
Well... honestly, I didn't think too much, and I didn't really have much of a topic in mind. I was just concerned because of last night, and wanted to make sure you were alright.
But maybe we can talk about our dreams?
[ He raises a hand to play idly with a strand of his hair for a moment, before letting it fall to his side, but he tries to at least manage a smile. ]
no subject
There's no lying that her reaction hurt him, because she's never seen him like that before. Maybe it's an act though. Maybe it's because he's lonely and they're friends.
Maybe...
Maybe...
So many maybes...
But dreams comes up and her eyes go wide in fear and the door opens a little more since she's still holding on to the handle. It's clear that's what is affecting her the most right now.]
I... we can talk wherever you want, but... I don't... want to talk about my dream.
[She can talk about possibly being killed in her world, but she can't talk about anything that shows she distrusts others.]
no subject
But, if we're going to talk about my dream, I don't want to do it somewhere other people can overhear me. Is that reasonable?
[ Mikazuki has certainly noticed her reaction when he had brought it up and despite the fact that he can be oblivious in certain situations, when it comes to people displaying unease, that's not something he's going to miss. He'll easily respect her wishes, and he figures that it has been a long time coming...because he's never got around to telling her things.
But, at the same time, he's not going to say what happened in his dream while he's standing in the hallway, so, uh. ]
no subject
You can... can come in then.
[Right, she's being silly, isn't she? Mikazuki is her friend, right? So she'll leave her place at the door and motion for him to enter. She'll set up the chair so it's facing the bed and then after that she'll sit on the bed.]
no subject
Thank you.
[ He can't take anything for granted, not like he had done with Killia's presence. Then, he'll step further into the room and he'll seat himself in the chair. He'll place his hands in his lap. ]
Well, back at home, the memory came of the time where a friend of mine did something rash. He tried to go ahead and change history. Because of what he was trying to do... his visage began to disappear from the photos at home, as if his existence as we knew it never was. I'm sure he was about to become one of the enemy as well...
... But, I think there is something a little strange about it.
no subject
What was so strange about it?
[Her voice is rather soft.]
The fact that he was disappearing or... is it something else?
no subject
[ He brings a photo and shows it to her. Its of himself and everyone in the citadel. ]
Everyone is here in the photo, including the person in the memory that had himself erased from the photos back home, and was surely trying to change history...so, isn't that strange?
no subject
Perhaps the photo comes from another point in time? [She can't believe she's saying this, but she's had a few conversations about this.]
Or perhaps... [She shakes her head, she doesn't know. Honestly, she's really confused.] ...n-never mind.

room 29
no subject
H-hello Hanyuu...
no subject
No. If she does nothing, it will all just continue.]
Hello, Estellise. ...Have you eaten today? May... May I speak with you?
no subject
[She's been doing whatever she can to just... stay in her room. Though with Hanyuu, because she's comforted the other in the past, she'd feel rude to turn down her offer.]
Yes, we... can speak. Would you like to come inside?
[She ambivalently opens her door to allow the other inside. This is really hard for Estelle right now, but she's going to try.]
no subject
[The shattered look Hanyuu's had the last two Sundays, that is something Estelle will not see. Instead, there's a fire in her. A fire that hasn't burned like this in... Well, not once in the time she's been here.]
I'll do whatever you wish.
no subject
[She doesn't want to leave because that has the possibility of confronting Gangrel which she is not ready for yet. She knows she needs to apologize, but right now she can't...
Even if inviting people in is just as terrifying...]
no subject
Then...if you would wait a short time, I'll return with some food. You need to keep up your strength, you know?
no subject
O-okay...
[It sounds a little forced, but she is agreeing to this. She probably wouldn't get fed otherwise.]
no subject
...Estelle's definitely closed her door again, hasn't she, knock knock once more.]
Estellise? I've returned.
no subject
Thank you. You... didn't need to do all this.
[Her voice is still tired, but there's a hint of gratefulness in it.]
no subject
[Enter she does, and she sets the food down on the desk.]
Your company and support has been such a help to me, Estellise. I couldn't simply leave you alone, unattended. I care for you.
no subject
I... appreciate it. Now I understand what... it's like to feel like this. The death it was hard... but I never... lost a really good friend before. Not even back home.
