WEEK 6.
With the deaths of Viktor Nikiforov, Varric Tethras, and Killia, you're down to half of your original number. There's only fifteen of you left. How much longer before your number drops again? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, that doesn't mean that you've gained nothing else among the many, many losses you've faced; it seems that another floor has been made available to you for surviving another week. Congratulations and well done, even if you might not necessarily appreciate the reward. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week six of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

Mikazuki dimly recalls last night. This is why he was in Gangrel's room. Well, he was so out of sorts that he barely remembers anything he did.
The only thing he can vividly recall after the trial is the man helping him to his feet, and then...heading back here after wandering the halls some time later. He supposed his mind was still having a hard time coping.
Thinking about the dream, he reaches for the picture he's carried on him, his eyes focused on Yasuada's person... and the thought is, Ah... that's strange. In the dream, all evidence of his person had been erased from every photo, but here...well...
It calms him down somewhat, regarding the state of things back home, but as a few more tears drip onto the photo, he's seemingly content on sitting in silence in the room.
...
When Mikazuki is able to get it together enough to head out of his room-- no, Gangrel's room -- he goes to try to take it easy, letting himself wander wherever he may feel his feet taking him. He's also going to be wearing new clothes from now on. First he stops by the profiles, and at that point, he's halted by the sight of the things written for the newly dead. His eyes are drawn to Killia's in particular. He needs to find out who did this.
If he sees people walk by he'll speak up. ]
Ah, excuse me...
[ After that, Mikazuki manages to head into the garden, because he ends up wandering into here eventually. He has the painting that Killia's done, and he's probably trying to find more sakura blossoms in here... or something. He gets distracted by staring at most of the flowers, though.
Later on, he can be found in the dojo, and he's swinging one of those ineffective iron blades, but he just manages to sigh to himself, not feeling into it. He'll even lower the blade, and right after head to the bar for a quick drink. ]
garden
They're real pretty, huh? All these flowers.
no subject
Yes, they are. I never thought that we would ever have a place like this.
[ He turns to face Vanille with a smile. ]
Ahh...we've never talked to each other, have we? If not, I think some introductions are in order, even if we've seen each other on the profiles.
My name is Mikazuki Munechika, it is a pleasure to speak with you, Miss.
no subject
[ ... still leaves a bad taste in her mouth but. PLANTS. NATURE. ]
Nice to meet you, too, Mikazuki! I'm Vanille.
[ handshake? handshake! ]
no subject
Oh, he's not expecting the handshake though, but he's always glad for friendliness, and he'll take it, shaking her hand a bit... it's less enthusiastic than he'd be doing normally, but he did try. ]
Quite a energetic person, aren't you?
[ He almost feels like laughing, but not quite there yet. ]
no subject
I try! It's hard to not be cheerful when you're surrounded by all this, you know?

What's up?

[ ... ]
I wanted to thank them.
no subject
I saw Watanuki working on them after the trial. He's probably your guy.
[It's not a complete lie, anyway.]
no subject
That is quite admirable of him. Thank you for telling me, Silver.
Oh, by the way, were you about to do something? I hope I am not standing in your way.
no subject
[But Mikazuki is right. There is something he wanted to do here, and he's got the right tools to do it, so he pulls out a piece of tape and uses it to cover up one of his dislikes so he can write in something different.

There.

gangrel's room!!
Well, that's... certainly a dream alright. Gangrel doesn't wake with a start, but it looks like Mikazuki's still having issues (which is understandable, he guesses) so he waits for a few moments before sitting up and stretching, giving Mikazuki plenty of warning before he speaks up.]
I'd say "good morning" but it certainly isn't one. Are you okay?
[...it was an attempt, alright.]
no subject
I don't know. But, I think better than yesterday.
... I'm just used to waking up beside Killia, though, so it's just been my first time of that not being the case. There was the dream too, but...
[ He doesn't know where to start. ]
no subject
[He's not going to sugarcoat it any. Mikazuki knows exactly how he is anyway.]
What about your dream, though? Was it a terrible one?
no subject
Ah, well... yes, it was troubling, at first.
[ He'll try to explain things as coherently as he can. ]
You see, when a sword tries to change history, they can become corrupted, and in that process all traces of their appearance is wiped clean, as if they had never existed in that state. Eventually, they are said to become like the History Revisionists themselves that we fight on the battlefield, their forms twisting into a darker sort. In my dream, his Yamatonokami Yasuada's appearance had vanished from the photos, but he's still in the photo I have here, so it is a little strange.
So maybe... he's okay.
no subject
[He... thinks that's how it works, anyway??]

garden
[He's not alone in the garden. It seems a...popular place, right now.]
This place...is peaceful, isn't it?
no subject
[ Soon everyone is going to have group picnics in here... which is probably not a bad idea, actually. ]
It is. I don't think I'll be leaving for the next couple of hours.
It almost feels like a breath of fresh air.
no subject
[What flower is he captivated by right now? She goes to take a look at it.]
Do you think if we pick these, they'll just grow back tomorrow?
no subject
[ Mikazuki is probably gazing at some assortment of pink flowers... which look to be peonies of some kind. It's something he'd recognize at any rate, label or no label. ]
Well, it's probable that they'll be here when we come back tomorrow. Although, considering how strange this place works... maybe it won't be because it "grew" back. But, I'm sure no one would mind, either way.
Are you thinking of picking some?
no subject
[She nods.]
For the shrine I've set up. I'm not...a hanakotoba expert, but I'd like to put a few there...or see if I could find some sakura blossoms.

and then mikazuki appears at the corner of her eye, and she turns around to face him. ]
Oh, Munechika-san! Hello!
no subject
[ He'll smile easily enough, settling into some sort of jocular tone somehow, despite... everything. ]
no subject
[ she's lying, of course, but she doesn't want him to know; she's more concerned for his well-being. ]
But, I wanted to see how you were doing, more importantly.
no subject
You're here, so is Gangrel, Estelle, Miss Hanyuu, Phi, and everyone else. So, that's three or more for me.
[ He sighs a little. ]
It's difficult, yes, and it's still painful. But I know that life can be ephemeral, and that all comes to an end someday...so eventually I was going to have to face this sooner or later.
