WEEK 6 With the deaths of Viktor Nikiforov, Varric Tethras, and Killia, you're down to half of your original number. There's only fifteen of you left. How much longer before your number drops again? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, that doesn't mean that you've gained nothing else among the many, many losses you've faced; it seems that another floor has been made available to you for surviving another week. I think I'd like that sometime, I think. Just speaking of the places we've come from, you know?

For the shrine I've set up. I'm not...a hanakotoba expert, but I'd like to put a few there...or see if I could find some sakura blossoms.

[ He'll nod himself. ]

I'm pretty good with flowers, actually. Although, of course, not all of them. I could help.

[ He'll smile a little. Something like this could be a helpful distraction...

He begins to walk a little more and, lo and behold, he points to a section with sakura blossoms. ]

Ah, speaking of which there seem to be some here. Convenient isn't it?

I would say, fortunate, actually. I've always liked this flower...

[And, she would think Mikazuki probably does too.]

I think...I'll take some, for the shrine.

... Before I came here, I believe I used to take seeing flowers like this at home for granted. There was a ten - thousand year old sakura blossom tree in the citadel and everyone could always see it. But, for awhile there was hardly any of those in sight.

Then, Killia handed over a bouquet of them to me.

[ Mikazuki's smile is quite fond, and not melancholic, despite what had happened. ]

Ah, I'm not sure why I said that all of a sudden, but... I think since then I've had much more of an appreciation for it. So now, I may stop by the shrine very often now that you are taking some there too, ha ha.

[Ah... So that's why. Hanyuu's own smile mirrors his.]

I would hope you will. It's for all of us, after all; the dead, and the living too, to commune and connect...and to remember. I think, it would be lovely to have your presence there. Maybe...with your knowledge of him, I can put more things there that would appeal to him. More gifts.

Ah, well, in that case...

[ And then just like that, he is rambling ... ]

Yellow flowers would work for him too, oh, some curry, maybe something artsy too since he's into that sort of thing -- maybe a bracelet or something? Some tea too, just in case he can get thirsty and still is able to access that somehow, and mochi could be left there too, because he may like that too since he gave that to me a lot...

[Hanyuu listens. It seems this was her aim, because she watches him pleasantly, nodding. She'll let him talk, let him ramble.]

Yes... Yes, I think all of that would work. Aah, I'll need to expand to a second table. [...Somehow, that doesn't sound sad. No, there are just so many gifts for their friends.] What sort of curry does he like?

It'd be quite a nice sight, wouldn't it?

[ They're bound to like them -- well, Mikazuki is sure that Killia will like the gifts he's helped suggest or put out himself. ]

But, Killia likes any kind of curry, really. So any would do. I'd try to make some myself, but unfortunately I'm not any good at cooking, even when he tried to teach me.

Aah... That's unfortunate, I was going to ask you for some help. I've never tried curry before, as usually...well, it's too spicy for me in general.

[tsugomori]

Well, I can't handle anything that's too spicy, so I believe I understand that well enough.

[ ... ]

Killia always knew how to make it just right for me so it wouldn't burn my mouth or anything, so maybe he made sure to make it less spicy for people.

[ Or maybe it was just for him. ]

Aah, nor can I!

[Hanyuu appreciate Mikazuki so much-]

But...aah, I think, if I had a recipe, I could probably...figure out what to include or not to. [...] It might...take some time.

A recipe, hm? I don't really have it written down, but maybe I can try to help. I saw Killia cook it a few times.

[ ... The result is going to be hilarious, however, given how "cooking" seems to go with Mikazuki, but it doesn't mean he won't try! ]

That would help! We could try to make it together, and see what comes of it, yes?
