WEEK 6 With the deaths of Viktor Nikiforov, Varric Tethras, and Killia, you're down to half of your original number. There's only fifteen of you left. How much longer before your number drops again? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, that doesn't mean that you've gained nothing else among the many, many losses you've faced; it seems that another floor has been made available to you for surviving another week. [ don't think she's going to let you go just because you left while she was waking up! she saw your face and it certainly didn't look fine. ]

Wata-- [ ah, wait ] K-Kimihiro-kun... You left so suddenly!

[And here he had been hoping that he hadn't woken anybody up.

Watanuki jumps a little when he hears Orihime's voice, but when he looks up and sees her face he immediately looks apologetic.]

Sorry about that. I had something to take care of.

[introspects]

No, it's...it's alright. I just wanted to see if everything's okay.

[ you can tell her if something's up, her eyes say. please. ]

It's...

[No, he should be honest with her. He sighs, and then he starts again.]

The dream I had, it wasn't a good one. So I needed a little time to clear my head.

[introspects]

I had a feeling it would be something like that.

[ while her dream was very...bittersweet, she's had her fair share of bad ones over the past few weeks. this is, undoubtedly, the best one she'd had since she arrived here. ]

What happened?

[foundfate]

Mine's a long one, so tell me about yours first?

[Maybe he can delay a bit, and find a way to explain it that won't freak her out.]

...Have I told you about any of my other dreams yet?

[foundfate]

Ah? You hadn't actually, no.

[Mostly because Watanuki tried not to talk dreams with most people. Just Silver, Hanyuu, and...well, Varric, but he's not around anymore so. He knows that asking about dreams will mean people will ask him about his dreams, and they're not exactly easy to talk about.]

You can go ahead and start at the beginning, if that makes it easier.

[introspects]

[ she nods. she'd need to give him some context for him to understand what's been going on. ]

Well...my friend, Ishida-kun, is known as a Quincy back in my world. They have a grudge against the shinigami, and...it seemed like a war broke out. My first dream was of Ishida-kun betraying Kurosaki-kun and the rest of us, and...the Quincy destroying the Soul King.

[ please ask if you need more bleach lore watanuki ]

I...I tried to stop it, since my powers can reverse things back to their original state, but it didn't work. They just...absorbed my energy.

My dream this week...it turns out that Ishida-kun never betrayed us, in the end. So...this week...was better than the others.

[foundfate]

[Well that sure was a wild ride.]

That's good, then. It would be horrible if he had actually betrayed you. So it was an act, then? Was he trying to cover up his actions?

[introspects]

I think so. Ishida-kun was trying to be a double agent.

[ she knew he was trying to do the right thing. ishida would never truly side with the enemy...he's better than that. ]

I just...hope the rest of my dreams are this good.

[foundfate]

Hopefully they're better than that, honestly. What you and your friends deserve is a lifetime of not fighting for your lives against stuff like that. Boring, everyday memories would be much better.

[introspects]

That's...true.

[ everyday memories...having those again sounds like a far off dream. ]

But it's alright. We're just doing what we can to protect everyone. That's all. Ah, but enough about me--what was your dream about, Kimihiro-kun?

[foundfate]

Ah, it was...

[How does he tell Orihime without upsetting her...]

I confronted Yuuko about something. My missing memories, specifically. The ones I was missing before I came to this school here.

[Yeah btw that's a thing too.]

It was...stressful.

[introspects]

You...lost your memories? I...I had no idea.

[ oh...she looks sad to hear about this. watanuki... ]

What happened to them?

[foundfate]

I don't know. I guess it's something from my world. Yuuko didn't really answer why I don't have memories though, she gave me some cryptic BS-answer.

...She might be trying to protect you.
