WEEK 7 Oerba Dia Vanille, Phi, and Gangrel have joined the deceased, dropping your number even further. This is the second week that the death toll has risen by three, just by way of murder alone. With well over half of your number deceased, how much longer can this go on? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... As before, it seems that door at the bottom of the stairwell has been unlocked, allowing you to descend even further into the depths of the university; perhaps the new floor holds something promising for you. Or perhaps you'll "christen" this one with another murder. Given the current pattern, that probably wouldn't be a surprise. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 12

Bean sprout, if there were shame in running to your lover for comfort, the embarrassment would have been deeper through my heart than any stake.

[ She laughs at this, her evil old lady laugh. ]

SOME OF US have work to do and can't spend all day hugging people!

[ . . . Hmmm.

In a movement which si far too agile for how small she is, betraying how inhuman Elda Marker truly is, Elda has suddenly dropped the note and moved the few feet between her and Watanuki in a flash. She then pokes a claw out to touch his stomach, to give him a very light, very gentle shove. ]

A light breeze could blow you over right now.

[Both the shock of the sudden movement and the actual shoving itself make Watanuki yelp out in surprise and jump back. He probably would have fallen over too, he looks a little wobbly as he moves.]

Don't do that! Scaring someone like that definitely isn't a 'light breeze'!

[matchbreaker]

But it is!

[ In fact, she evil old lady laughs at this, making no more moves closer to him, but... ]

Go. Rest. You're in no position to judge me or investigate or anything. Your blood wouldn't even taste good, now.

I thought my blood wouldn't taste good to you anyway.

For a different reason. You look anemic, that always makes the taste bad.

[foundfate]

Well I guess it's a good thing you're not drinking my blood anyway then.

And for the record, you're supposed to eat food when you're anemic, not sleep.

Then go do that and then smush your face in the redhead's tas and buck up. If you're so concerned about being busy, be ready for tomorrow.

But eating and staying in bed is a waste of time! Time that we don't really have to spare.

[And there we go: he just doesn't want to be useless.]

You're not special, Kimihiro. There was a day I did nothing but smash up the chapel all day, a day where Hanyuu got drunk all day. I'm sure there've been days where Sportacus has done nothing but do flips and eat fruit.

What if I waste a day, and then because of that we don't find a way out in time, and someone else dies? There's already so few of us left here!

[matchbreaker]

[ She shakes her head ]

Now, seriously, go take comfort in her body heat. Or tell someone who you're comfortable with what you remembered. Or hell, both.

[ She assumes that he isn't comfortable telling her. ]

I'm sure my more normal friends don't want to hear about how I stopped myself from aging.

[ She says, somewhat skeptically. ]

Yeah yeah, I know. But a lot has changed since then.

... Would you tell me what? Perhaps not in this hall.

No, it's fine, nobody else would understand what it means.

[but Elda will, since they talked about wishes before.]

Her wish was 'I don't want you to disappear.'
