WEEK 7 Oerba Dia Vanille, Phi, and Gangrel have joined the deceased, dropping your number even further. This is the second week that the death toll has risen by three, just by way of murder alone. With well over half of your number deceased, how much longer can this go on? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... As before, it seems that door at the bottom of the stairwell has been unlocked, allowing you to descend even further into the depths of the university; perhaps the new floor holds something promising for you. Or perhaps you'll "christen" this one with another murder. Given the current pattern, that probably wouldn't be a surprise. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 12

[ Elda's a mask of annoyance and fury right now, not so much sitting in the chair so much as crouched on top of it like a frog, rocking a little in a precarious way. She's also biting her nail. She's not chewing on it, but she is sort of grinding her teeth a little ]

We can't send physical objects through the letters to them, or at least the ones I sent failed.

Also Phi had a message for us, something she'd been working out on her own for a while. An anagram. She's fairly certain her solution is "What you choose can materialize us."

[ orihime's eyes widen. what you choose can materialize us... choose what? ]

Maybe. I don't even know how it all relates. I saw her working on it several times before she died.

[ Reincarnation... ]

[introspects]

A choice...what we choose will give us--them-- another chance at life.

[ ... ] We don't know what that choice is, though.

[matchbreaker]

No more than we know what's inside that box I found last week, no.

[ A beat, she runs through the other letters in her head. ]

We must search more.

Do you happen to have the papers she was working on it with?

No. [ She sighs. ]

They could be in her room still, for all I know.

It wouldn't hurt looking. Did anyone find her key?
