WEEK 7.
Oerba Dia Vanille, Phi, and Gangrel have joined the deceased, dropping your number even further. This is the second week that the death toll has risen by three, just by way of murder alone. With well over half of your number deceased, how much longer can this go on? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... As before, it seems that door at the bottom of the stairwell has been unlocked, allowing you to descend even further into the depths of the university; perhaps the new floor holds something promising for you. Or perhaps you'll "christen" this one with another murder. Given the current pattern, that probably wouldn't be a surprise. |

[OOC: Welcome to week seven of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

Well, that's going to mess things up for everybody.
Afterwards, he begins to prepare. Something needs to be done to prevent the inevitability of what will happen with this incentive. He heads down to the machine with a handful of coins, hoping and praying that something useful appears.
His answer comes in the form of a small bat-shaped weapon.
Bruce can be found for the rest of the day in the dojo, practicing throws with the batarang. It takes him a little while to get back into his groove, but eventually, he's making precise throws - making his mark on the punching bags everytime.
...Of course, whenever someone comes in, he feigns a bad throw. To the outsiders, it's gonna look like he sucks at this. He has to remain unsuspecting, keep blending in with all of them. Gotta keep up appearances.]

I'm not really sure what it is. Outside of obviously being some sort of throwing weapon.

She doesn't seem like the type who'd go around using throwing weapons.
no subject
... Could I give it a try? [it looks so fun...]
no subject
Be careful with it.
no subject
It's really neat... I wonder what it is!
no subject
It's sharp. It could be a stabbing weapon, but I don't imagine you could kill someone with it.

[...] Though, I don't think that'd stop anyone.
no subject
... I think it's over, though. I don't think anything else is going to happen. Not with everyone we have left.
no subject
With that motive, I'm not so sure.

Is that a knife?
[Does Elda have some kind of Zubat knife? ...Right, right, it's just bat. Man, that's weird.]
no subject
[he nods at the two, as he picks it out of the punching bag.]
no subject
Does it come back to you like a boomerang?
[...There probably isn't enough room in the dojo to test this.]
no subject
[he bluffs, inspecting the batarang as he talks.]
I've seen it start to curve, but it hasn't come back to me yet. It just keeps hitting walls in here.
no subject
Do you want to try throwing it down the hallway? I can block the way with this.
[You know, so no one gets hurt. Weavile looks excited about this idea.]
no subject
[he smirks, crossing his arms.]
Since it was your idea, do you want a try with it?
no subject
You mean it?
[He's not particularly subtle; that's the coolest shit ever, hell yes he wants to try it is kind of written all over his face. But he still wants to make sure.]
no subject
[he's holding the thing out, silver. take it and run.]
no subject
[He'll be careful with it! He holds it up a little too close to his face to get a better look at it- it really does look just like a Zubat, what the hell- but quickly remembers what they're supposed to be doing and heads out to the hallway.]
Let me know when you're ready.
[Hopefully he'll have better luck with throwing than he did at aiming a bow.]
no subject
Alright, go for it.
no subject
But eventually, he tosses it with all the strength he can put behind it, and it immediately hits the ground. ...No, just kidding, it uh. It does something cool, presumably. Unfortunately I have no idea what that cool thing is, because I haven't watched any batman cartoons in years.
I am so sorry about this tag.]no subject
aight it'll probably start to curve and end up hitting the wall, probably? just because im not super sure how long these hallways even are but goddamn it'll look pretty cool]
That was very good for a first try, I think.
