WEEK 7.
Oerba Dia Vanille, Phi, and Gangrel have joined the deceased, dropping your number even further. This is the second week that the death toll has risen by three, just by way of murder alone. With well over half of your number deceased, how much longer can this go on? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... As before, it seems that door at the bottom of the stairwell has been unlocked, allowing you to descend even further into the depths of the university; perhaps the new floor holds something promising for you. Or perhaps you'll "christen" this one with another murder. Given the current pattern, that probably wouldn't be a surprise. |

[OOC: Welcome to week seven of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

...Was it anything like this? [Perhaps it's rude to pry, but--] Perhaps there is some way that we can come out on top.

What do you mean? Did something terrible happen to your home?
[Maybe it's just reoccurring thievery? That seems to be what would make the most sense from wording, but...]

I...remembered it being resolved, finally, but...for about a hundred years, my descendant and I were repeating time to prevent her death, and on a larger scale the death of the entire village that I'm supposed to guard.
[...]
The memories have plagued me for weeks. It made it hard to believe anything good would happen, there...or here.

Well. That's. Uh, not what she was expecting? If her face is any indication she was not even close to expecting that. What the fuck is your world, Hanyuu.]
...My, those sound like impossible odds. I am quite glad that you managed such a feat.
[That's. A polite way of putting it, at least.]

Aah... Yes. Yes, they were. It made it almost unthinkable for she or I- especially for I- to have any hope. [She looks sheepish, and a little guilty.] ...But really, once her friends reawakened that hope in the both of us...in me, it was...the fighting chance we really needed.
So really...my only advice now is to believe there will be another side.
no subject
...I suppose if it worked for you, it really can work for anyone. [As absurd as the entire situation sounds.] There is much to look forward to once we reach it, isn't there?
no subject
[She smiles, wistfully.]
It's beautiful. I hope...all of us can see such a thing.
no subject
[Lusamine says that with determination.]
We have far too much at stake to do otherwise. We will not cease until we create that perfect world, and...we get all of those back with us.
...tiny suicide cw
It puts her a little more at ease.
If worse comes to worse, and she has to-
...
They will be alright. Without her, they will.]
Well, then I hope everyone else carries that same faith.
no subject
[...though, now that Lusamine thinks about something.]
...Could I borrow you for a moment, actually? I got something rather unusual from the machine, and I would like some help knowing who to give it to.
no subject
[Lead the way, Lusamine!]

[Lusamine leads the way to her room, skating in for a moment to pull the outfit out of her trunk. Freshly folded, she presents it to Hanyuu.]
Have you an idea of who might wear this?
no subject
Well, the moment she sees it, Hanyuu's eyes widen and she... Her hands find the fabric of the odd kimono, and she lifts up its black, most outer layer.
"Hanyuu, won't you try this one on instead?"
"Haaa...!! Riku, I will not indulge in your miko-obsession!"
"H-Hanyuu... Please, it's just for a moment! ...unless you like it-"
"There is no fault with the kimono I'm currently wearing!"
"...N-no, it does look nice too-"
"Wh-what do you mean by...?!"
Just seeing it... It brings back memories. Before she'd accepted Riku's gift, the clothes she now wears. Before... When she was first learning...
Her voice comes out tight.] It's mine. Actually. From very long ago.
no subject
Ah, Hanyuu...are you alright? You don't look so well...
haha one backtag
I- It just brought up memories, that I...haven't thought about in so very long, I... Thank you. I'm glad to see this again, I never thought...
no subject
I'm proud to reunite you with such a precious outfit then, Hanyuu. I imagine that it must be truly beautiful on you. Did you pick this out for yourself, or...
[...you know...]
...Did he pick this for you?
no subject
Aah- n-no, actually. What I...what I usually wear, that's what Riku gave me. [The detached sleeves and all...] This outfit was...when I manifested to my human form, I chose it. It grew with me, but I... Well, I lost it, after a point.
no subject
[She...pauses for a moment.]
It's good that you found it then, hm? I'm sure it will look lovely on you, even after so long.
