WEEK 2.

WEEK 2

Two people are gone from the group. Zagi and Kamui are dead, twenty-five of you are still alive, and the first week in the Vault comes to a close.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning, those klaxons are as annoying as ever but at the very least there aren't any bodies to be found. It can be assumed, perhaps, that you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; one of the previously closed-off section near the vending machine has opened up, revealing a spiral staircase leading up to the next floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done.

SURVIVORS REMAINING: 25

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!

The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]
lackinginfaith: Caren looking to the side with disdain. (you got told)

It'd be nice if we had instructions for these. I know most of us would like better clothes.
devastation: (a woman scorned)

[personal profile] devastation 2016-03-07 07:09 am (UTC)(link)
Yes... I'd certainly like to have a pair of instructions on hand so that I can make sure to use them correctly.

[Looking between the dress in her hands, and the machine with a frown before she turns her attention to Caren-san.]

I don't suppose you know how to use one of these, do you?
lackinginfaith: Caren looking up. (tell him it was the mermaid!)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-03-07 02:01 pm (UTC)(link)
I haven't tried. Cooking and washing my own clothes are one thing, but I never learned this, unfortunately.
devastation: (not on that setting it won't)

[personal profile] devastation 2016-03-08 04:59 am (UTC)(link)
I see... [Megumi considers the machine for a moment.] Well, I'm sure it's not that difficult to use... we'll just have to be careful not to press something that might cause any damage here.

[We're two intelligent people, surely we can figure this out right.]
lackinginfaith: Caren giving an unsure face at Seira. (1 child doesn't like the dead goldfish)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-03-08 02:06 pm (UTC)(link)
It looks complicated enough. So you have to put the thread in here and then lead it through this convoluted path, then run it for a while just to fill the spool under the needle?
devastation: (exchanging pleasantries)

[personal profile] devastation 2016-03-09 04:18 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, that sounds right.

[...though, maybe we should use some of the fabric here first to practice with rather than immediately trying to work on our dress...]

Do you have any ideas of what you'd like with these, Caren-san?
lackinginfaith: Caren sweatdrops in a faceless group shot. (good to see the horror coming early)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-03-09 04:31 am (UTC)(link)
Just half-decent clothes. We might want to start with something more simple, though. Everyone needs aprons from all that baking in the kitchen.
devastation: (yes that's my hand in front of your face)

[personal profile] devastation 2016-03-09 06:44 am (UTC)(link)
[There sure are an awful lot of us that like to do stuff in the kitchen...]

Oh, that's an excellent suggestion! We'll likely need to make... about five or six aprons, maybe?
lackinginfaith: Caren eating with a smirk. (look at me look at me i'm so pretty)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-03-09 01:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Public-use aprons. They can't be that hard, they're supposed to be one of the simpler things to do! Maybe different colours. Purple, dark blue, yellow, orange... pink and light blue? Does that sound right?
devastation: (exchanging pleasantries)

[personal profile] devastation 2016-03-10 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
That sounds good to me. We'll just need to gather the fabric and thread we'll need to make them.

[Hopefully Kingmaker-san actually gave them enough material to use here and didn't get stingy here like he did with everything else...]
lackinginfaith: Caren, Noel, and Coco. (awwwwwwww yeah soooooooon)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-03-10 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
Sure. How much will we need?

[already going for the bolts, trying to figure out what kinds will work]
devastation: (oh you mean THAT time at band camp)

[personal profile] devastation 2016-03-10 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
I think we'll need about... six yards of fabric, I think? One for each color.

[While Caren's doing that, Megumi's going to just... grab a ton of these different threads available since she's not sure how much they're going to have to use up to make an apron with.]
lackinginfaith: Caren looks determined. (i'm in my bed aww yeaaaah)

[personal profile] lackinginfaith 2016-03-10 02:19 pm (UTC)(link)
[what is imperial, though. Either way, she gets to measuring and cutting. Thank goodness for sewing tables with rules built in.]

Okay. It can't be all that hard.
