WEEK 2.

WEEK 2

Two people are gone from the group. Zagi and Kamui are dead, twenty-five of you are still alive, and the first week in the Vault comes to a close.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; on Sunday morning, those klaxons are as annoying as ever but at the very least there aren't any bodies to be found. It can be assumed, perhaps, that you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

However, those weird dreams aren't the only new thing around here; one of the previously closed-off section near the vending machine has opened up, revealing a spiral staircase leading up to the next floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done.

SURVIVORS REMAINING: 25

We have those [harpoons are pretty cool], but mostly I was thinking of the magical barrier that keeps outsiders from entering the town I live in.
captainobnoxious: (19 yeah that's broken)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-08 03:13 am (UTC)(link)
[...........]

Ooookay. Magic isn't my area, so I don't know if you can actually do that or if you're pulling my leg, but I'll trust that it's a real thing and that it sounds pretty useful.
cherryblooded: (smile / ho ho)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-08 03:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Wouldn't lie to you about something like that.

[What would the point of that be?]
captainobnoxious: (43 yeah sure)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-08 08:24 pm (UTC)(link)
[teasing the poor nordic woman what else]

I'm just someone that sees to believe, that's all. If I can't lick it then it's pretty hard for me to think it exists. But I'll believe you since it's you.
cherryblooded: (smile / sigh)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-08 08:25 pm (UTC)(link)
That's very kind of you.

[Is he really all that trustworthy to everyone here? Well, he's not lying, but.]
captainobnoxious: (12 matter o' fact kids)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-08 08:56 pm (UTC)(link)
[Sigrun's an honest person herself, so she assumes everyone else will be the same way. If you say you can do something then she's trusting you to do it. If you say you have a magical barrier around your home, well, she might not believe in that part in particular, but yeah.]

I just figure you've got no reason to lie about it, and honestly you're part well-built shrimp. There's not much that can surprise me between you and the other oddities here.
cherryblooded: (smile / well shucks)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-08 08:58 pm (UTC)(link)
[...Was the well-built part even relevant?]

Fair enough. Suppose my world's bound to be odd to the rest of you.
captainobnoxious: (20 boy is that shit broken)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-08 09:09 pm (UTC)(link)
[As relevant as reminded everyone that Mettaton's technically naked already.]

And my world's a pretty sad place compared to most of everyone else's, I'd guess, except for maybe kitten. With his whole world ending deal.

[like wow that blows]

Does your ocean have giant sea beasts in it?
cherryblooded: (smile / pleasant)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-08 09:11 pm (UTC)(link)
'Beasts' is a rude word, but I remind you that my wife is thirty feet long, and not even the biggest person I've seen.
captainobnoxious: (06 don't talk much? too bad! i do!)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-08 09:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Sorry, that's what we call them back home.

But I'm talking about like sea serpents and whales with bones sticking out of their sides! Monstrous creatures that'd tear a boat's sides apart and rip harpoon right from the deck! Things that could create waves high enough to wash a settlement away if you don't ward them off!

[Someone is a little too excited.]
cherryblooded: (smile / sigh)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-08 10:25 pm (UTC)(link)
I haven't met many, but we do have some that grow that big.

["Official height: huge cm."]
captainobnoxious: (07 i am surrounded by tiny tots)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-08 11:56 pm (UTC)(link)
[God bless.]

Everything off of Dalsnes feels bigger than the boats we have, so it's always a fun time out at sea. I remember the first time I saw a sea orm -- it was so awesome! We nearly got eaten!
cherryblooded: (smile / that's fine)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-09 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
Sounds like it was a fun time.

[...to her, and that's really what matters, right?]
