WEEK 8 Orihime Inoue and Mikazuki Munechika are dead thanks to the Wordsmith's motive. While only two have died this past week, it feels much emptier around here now. There's only ten of you left. There's so few of you now. Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Unfortunately, regardless of how well you may or may not have done this week, it seems that there's nothing else for you here. No new floors have opened up below the seventh; it looks like for now, that truly is all. Perhaps it's a good sign. Perhaps it's one of the worst yet. Only time will tell. ...I don't know. Maybe if we threw a lot. For now, I'm gonna assume they're good for stunning Kageshirou and buying us a little time, and that's it.

I...wish we could communicate with it still. I know it might get us nowhere but since it seems to be what the Wordsmith keeps threatening us with.

Absolutely. If we could just call him on the phone that would make things easier.

But you never know, he might be listening to us anyway. Sort of like how the Wordsmith could be spying on us too.

Aaaaah, but if that were the case, it's not like anything we could do or say would really prevents matters from coming to his ear.

[ But she does adopt a somewhat more casual tone. ]

Someone should really see if he lives in all parts of the building. It's not against the rules to mess with the floors, after all.

For that matter, perhaps the ceilings as well, but those are more the "walls" than the floor.

[ And harder to get to. ]

I wouldn't risk it with the ceilings. You might accidentally get some of the wall in the process, even if it's just a small bit of paint or something.

True! ... The floors, then! On different levels, too, that would be sound.
