WEEK 8.

WEEK 8 Orihime Inoue and Mikazuki Munechika are dead thanks to the Wordsmith's motive. While only two have died this past week, it feels much emptier around here now. There's only ten of you left. There's so few of you now. Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Unfortunately, regardless of how well you may or may not have done this week, it seems that there's nothing else for you here. No new floors have opened up below the seventh; it looks like for now, that truly is all. Perhaps it's a good sign. Perhaps it's one of the worst yet. Only time will tell. It depends. Sometimes it's not very nice, but sometimes, if you bite someone that's really bad, it can be pretty cool.

[Either way, the point is that she's just a normal, uh... Talking book. Writing book. Yeah.]

Could you tell us about some of the other people you've talked to like this before? Or wrote to, I guess.

[Noir. He doesn't know how to address that, given what they've seen today, so he'll offer up the pen to someone else.]

When was the last time you heard from Noir?

Hi, Jasper! It was a long time ago.

[uh, how do you tell a book that someone might be twice dead]

You said you can't tell if you were always a book or not, so if you can't answer this easily I understand. It is difficult, being a sentient book? Is it painful?

[trustwellness]

It's not painful! Why would it be painful?

[iaspis]

For my kind, sometimes changing shape can be painful.

It is good to hear that you are not in pain.

[she's not sure she should be the one to emotionally stuntedly say Noir might be double dead. All she really wanted to verify was whether or not it is painful to be a talking book, so someone can take it from here if they want!]

Hello, Elda! I haven't been involved in one, but I've been told about one before.

So you heard about it from the one we're calling Noir, a while back, perhaps?

That's right!

Do you have any idea how long you've been a book, or does time not really exist for books?

[trustwellness]

I've always been a book!

[...how helpful.]

Wow. [ that, she says out loud. And then writes ]

What an alien lot in life to my ears. Or well, eyes, I suppose.

Do you have awareness of what's around you other than what we write?

[trustwellness]

I only know what's written. I don't have eyes like you!

[matchbreaker]

I see! So can you tell us anything Noir might've written about this building we're in or what's outside of it?

[trustwellness]

Noir never wrote much about that. She couldn't go outside, though. You guys are trapped in here too, right?

[matchbreaker]

That's right! The walls are very tough and then the one time we did crack them there was that shadow creature inside of it.
