WEEK 8.

WEEK 8

Orihime Inoue and Mikazuki Munechika are dead thanks to the Wordsmith's motive. While only two have died this past week, it feels much emptier around here now.

There's only ten of you left. There's so few of you now.

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Unfortunately, regardless of how well you may or may not have done this week, it seems that there's nothing else for you here. No new floors have opened up below the seventh; it looks like for now, that truly is all.

Perhaps it's a good sign. Perhaps it's one of the worst yet. Only time will tell.

[OOC: Welcome to week eight of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

[...Oh, Silver.]

Do you need...a little help with that?

[For reference, he's using Gangrel's sword, not the Mikazuki one. The Mikazuki sword is on the ground right now, but he's starting with the big weirdly shaped thing first.]

Maybe. Swords aren't really my thing.

[...He's just feeling sentimental today.]
oyashiromama: (all because we'll never know)

[Ah, yes, when we have multiple swords now, it's always good to clarify. However, since there's a second, Hanyuu will move to pick it up.]

Would you like me to teach you? It's been a long time since I've used one, but I imagine it's like- aah, getting on a bicycle, is that how the saying goes?
feistytrader: (okay then)

[...He looks uncomfortable for a moment as he looks down at the sword. He doesn't like swords. He never has. It feels wrong to use one, really. At the same time, the circumstances here are very different, and he's not going to let his personal feelings get in the way of something that could help them later.]

Please.

[He holds it firmly, then waits for Hanyuu's instructions. It's extremely obvious from the way he holds it that he's left-handed.]
oyashiromama: out of feathers‚ out of bones (in the spring we made our homes)

[She takes a moment to get her balance and find familiarity with her stance. She's only ever used a single sword before, so at first it's hard to find comfort in holding a different one, but once she's standing legs staggered and breathing slowly, it all just...comes back to her.

Once that's that-]

Now... You've a sword in hand, though its shape strange, that's perfect for a single-handed use. Grasp...aah, Silver, your dominant hand, that's your left, yes? Then you want to grasp it like so, see? You're a bit too far down on the hilt, and you don't want it flying from your grip.
