Final Investigation.
| The Wordsmith's message earlier this week was an ominous one; try as one might, it's difficult to ignore completely, especially with such few details provided to the group. "The end" is such a vague description; however, it does mean one thing, and that's the promise that all of this will come to a close, one way or another. He's promised you one other thing, however – that being that the only way to leave the building is by way of Rule Seven. The chimes ring out, as they always do, on Friday morning; a thorough check of the building will bring with it the realization that no one has died as of last night. There are no bodies to be found in any of the rooms; Kageshirou remains in the foyer, but in general it doesn't seem that anything has changed. However, it's plain that you're all getting restless, and perhaps understandably so; there's only one thing to do in that sort of circumstance, isn't there? After all, you've gotten good at this game; you know what happens on Fridays around here. There are a lot of places to check; just as a bit of advice, you might want to start on the lowest floor first. Other than that, however? You're on your own. Best of luck to you. >Explore? |

It's actually dark in here. You can't see anything right now!]

... She normally has nightvision but yeah, enough to feel around for a light switch maybe? ]

Why a chapel?!
[ . . . Okay though, let's look around for some of the differences. The first one is burned into her memory from smashing it up ]

Aah... At least we don't have to be here...too long, hopefully.

[ Wordsmith, that is. ]

[He forsook faith, yet he took such time speaking with her?]

[ She tries to recall the exact wording from that squirrelly man... ]
"There was a time when I held a very strong faith indeed. Though I still hold to pieces of it, I have drifted somewhat over time."

Huh.
Let's feel around them. Anything on top of or under them? ]

... But yes, might as well, right? ]

Somewhere in the middle Elda's probably going to come across a piece of paper wedged into the back of one of the pews.
But while Hanyuu's up front, she might notice something a little strange - there are candles already set up in the front and there's something off about them.]

[ She'll attempt to get at it! Anything written on it? Is it similarly scorched like the rest of this? ]

Time is becoming a precious limited resource to me. But my goal is close, I am certain of that. It has to be.
How ominous.]

Either way, she holds it in her hand and sort of flips it around before heading more up towards the front. ]
how did i miss this
There isn't anything else about the note though, you're good!]
