Second.
| Friday dawns fairly quietly this week; unlike last week, there's no blood splashed around the hallway, and there's very little that seems amiss at first glance. It's almost enough to make one think that nothing happened last night – that maybe the incentive was ignored, that maybe rational-minded camaraderie may have won out over the desire to escape the Vault. That impression will last you until somebody decides to head upstairs. They won't get past the stairwell without noticing that something is definitely amiss - while there notably does not appear to be a body, that doesn't mean that something isn't there regardless. You might want to check that out. Just saying. >Explore? |

STAIRWELL

Suppose the doctor won't be helping as much today...
[Let's take a look at these pieces. How big are they?]

Bruce is still kind of... trying to take all of this in (at least now he can be sure she's dead, considering the Kingmaker's announcement) but since he is here, might as well try to help out somehow.]

We shouldn't just leave that there.
[And that's...surprisingly blunt and there's very little behind it, but at the very least he's trying. Maybe he's just wigged out, it's a little hard to tell with him.]
Once they're done investigating the pieces themselves, we should take...her with us.

[Aside from the obvious safety issues, it's just... well, rude. If this is all truly her, then well...]
I'll go to the storage room to get something to sweep all of this up and put it all in one place.

[Just give him a few minutes. He'll be back, and then they can do all of this properly.]
Re: STAIRWELL
Well damn it! All that is left are cracked rocks. This is a problem]
Damn it...there is no body now. How are we supposed to find a cause of death or any clues related to that without a body...?
[For that reason Mouri is going to try to see anything that could be among Pearl's remains, as respectfully as possible]

Huh!
[Mouri carefully takes some of the fibers to look closely at them. What do they look like?]

[And so he will and will find nothing because no top tier for the sewing room = no clues. Too bad.
But for now he's just storing a few of those fibers in a handkerchief to take them to the trial. Time to continue.
Mouri walks up and down the stairs as if trying to see anything the culprit or the victim may have dropped other than the sledgehammer]

Besides all the pretty stones.]

Well, that might be important.
[Sigrun's going to pick it up and swing it a little, testing its weight and missing her own gun and dagger. But this would definitely take out a few trolls. Maybe she'll keep it.
Anything else?]

As he comes down though he sees Sigrun and... what she has.]
Captain Eide?

Doctor! I've got a good nose for weapons, apparently, because there's dust on this one that tastes just like rock.
[please don't inquire.]
