We are admittedly not entirely sure what the heck the catgirl is there for, but she's there. Anyway, in the dining hall this evening, Aqua and Yato have set things up for a group dinner!! All the food is being put on one table; the rest of the room is for mingling and is colorfully decorated in a way that suggests that Yato went wild in the art room at some point and decided what we all really need in our lives is more color and more glitter!!

There's also this piece of paper with everybody's names on it in pairs, and sets of questions (red tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet). That's right, your mystery game is speed-dating and Yato is here to be your cupid for the evening!! ]

It's better that way. I have almost no experience cooking.

Well, then! You'll have to redouble your efforts with getting to know everybody else! Be sure to talk to lots of people and ask them a bunch of questions, alright?

Well, you don't have to date 'em for real. You just have to talk to them, get to know them a little better. It'll be fun! Make a friend! ... Or deepen your friendship!

Colress-san...sure, why not? It is worth a try, talk to him a bit more for no concrete reason at all. It could be interesting

Bruce-san is a nice guy. I wouldn't mind talking to him more, if he comes. Although I suspect he already has a date here in the Vault.

[Mouri's face scrunches, somehow. He still can't believe it]

[Mouri looks to side to side, trying to confirm nobody is nearby. Bruce's love life is not something he should be talking about, but...if there's somebody who can deal with it it's Yato. With some luck he'll dissuade Bruce from going any further]

Don't spread the word because this is the kind of thing he should reveal publicly if it is going to be serious. Recently, judging from some stuff Bruce-san said, this is what I found out:

It is likely Bruce-san and Your Majesty the Bird are getting together. They're even sharing a room already. It's a bit sudden, but it seems serious to me.

... Look, have you seen Cherryblod's wedding picture with his wife? I don't believe in being species-ist or... whatever. As long as they're both in love with each other! I... okay, no, it's kinda weird! The King is too pure for that!!

I have seen that photo, but it's different because...because they are both sea animals, the compatibility is kind of obvious.

I suppose it'll take me a while to get used to this. They are both adults, surely they know what they're doing.

The King isn't an adult! The King is... the King!! It's different. They had better be looking at a long, looooong courting period.

[Good thing Yato is checking the veracity of these facts later! Surely there must be some relief on knowing Mouri was no more than reaching wrong conclusions. Again]

Bruce-san is a good guy. I'm sure he has no bad intentions.

[Mouri sure said with with sudden confidence. He does like Bruce, Mouri truly believes there's no way that man would ever harm anyone.

Still, he wasn't going to stop Yato. The sooner this blossoming fiery romance ended, the better]

Do me a favor: you do that and then please tell me if you managed to stop it. I'm as concerned for them both as you are.
