Week 5.

WEEK 5 Three more have joined the deceased this past week. Taichi Yagami was punished for breaking a rule, Megumi Sakura was killed, and Norman Bates... well, the less said about Norman, the better. A third of you are dead now; your losses are becoming more and more evident with each passing week. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible fifth floor. We're okayish now, by the way. If you've been dying to know. Neither of us apologized for anything [did anyone expect them to] and we ended up just "stargazing" in his room until I fell asleep.

... Is it alright if the reason's as stupid as that I wanted to be able to hang out with him still? Because I got really tired of not seeing him. It still feels stupid. Kind of.

That's not a stupid reason. Arguing with your significant other feels terrible because you love them, even when they're frustrating you to no end, and you just want it to stop.

I guess hundred of years would teach you that nicely, huh. Well, if you say it's not stupid then I'll believe you.

[It's just kind of uncomfortable talking about this right now okay this is still a Thing she's getting really used to.]

The important thing is that you dealt with it, in whatever way you decided to deal with it, and moved on. Every couple has disagreements. Even Doloz and I do.

Normally we talk in a civilized tone about why we're upset and how we can come to some sort of compromise that makes us both feel better.

Then, yes, we usually kiss.

What if it keeps happening? Do you just not talk about it or what?

If it keeps happening, there's probably some bigger root problem you're not aware of or addressing? So you need to try and figure out what that is.

Hate to have to break this to you, but relationships usually require a lot of talking.

That'll be fun when it happens, I guess. If it happens. Bombshell's really good at talking and then... not saying anything. I'll trap him into it somehow. I mean, I've faced scarier things before, something like that will be easy.

More or less. And besides - even if it doesn't work out romantically, I think you'll always be close friends.

Well, duh, we're still close friends even if we're dating. How can you not be? It doesn't make much sense to date someone you're not close to or can't trust to not kill you in your sleep.

I agree completely - it's just that sometimes when people break up, it upsets the friendship they had before.

[Which sucks, frankly.]

Why? Do they suddenly forget how to have friends or something? Because that sucks.

It's not that, exactly. It's more like - breakups can be perfectly amiable if you both decide it's not working out, but sometimes they're not. One side or both gets hurt feelings, and it makes it hard to go back to their previous friendship.

... Well, I feel like I don't want that to happen, so I'm not going to let it. If we break up then it'll be a nice one.

[Not that... she wants to think about it in the first place, really, because Sigrun has a lot of fun with Mettaton and there's a lot that makes her have stupid feelings and want to punch herself in the stomach to get rid of them but she keeps doing things to get that feeling again so, you know. It'd be disappointing. Even if nothing changed between them minus a few things...]

Can't say I'd be very happy about it though. Maybe it's because I'm new to this whole thing and all, but I really want to just stay like this? I'm fine. If he wasn't, then I'd, you know, I'd respect that, but mostly I'd want to do something to fix that.

That's one of the reasons I think you two will be be fine.

[Cherryblod has seen some nasty breakups, but Mettaton and Sigrun just don't seem the type, especially if they ever learn to actually talk.]
