Week 5.

WEEK 5

Three more have joined the deceased this past week. Taichi Yagami was punished for breaking a rule, Megumi Sakura was killed, and Norman Bates... well, the less said about Norman, the better.

A third of you are dead now; your losses are becoming more and more evident with each passing week.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not...

Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible fifth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you'll probably need the distraction after the last trial.

[...He'd pay to see the damn bongo drums thing. Just saying.]

It seems like they did - which made the whole thing worth it, if you ask me.
amygdalae: if only. (if only wishes were.)

[personal profile] amygdalae 2016-03-28 05:18 pm (UTC)(link)
[If he ever finds bongo drums for Bruce, maybe.]

That's good. Being able to let it go is much better than bottling it all up.

[...says the guy who literally bottles everything up.]
ratingspoint: (ARROGANCE ♥ that's what she said)

[personal profile] ratingspoint 2016-03-28 05:20 pm (UTC)(link)
[...To the other guy who's been doing a heroic job of bottling everything up as well. God, we're healthy individuals, aren't we.]

It's better to take it out on things that won't care if you hurt them, at least as far as this place is concerned.
amygdalae: you sir are not impressing me (is that all you've got?)

[personal profile] amygdalae 2016-03-28 05:30 pm (UTC)(link)
[This is why they all can't have nice things.]

Or in ways where it won't hurt others. [Because... yeah. That was a thing.] Let's try not to encourage it too much, though - we need to make sure we still have enough supplies for however long we're still here for.

[Until they get out, that is.]

[...Good point.]

...Well, at least the bricks are easily-made!

[THE DISHWARE NOT SO MUCH, MAYBE...]

How are you holding up today, darling?
amygdalae: (look what we've got here)

[personal profile] amygdalae 2016-03-28 08:06 pm (UTC)(link)
[Definitely not the dishware.]

Well enough, considering everything. [A smile.] I suppose you're feeling better too after--all of this.

[Just kind of gestures to the destruction that's all around them.]
ratingspoint: (ASIDE ♥ okay but enough about you)

[personal profile] ratingspoint 2016-03-29 12:26 am (UTC)(link)
Most of it actually wasn't me! But I did my share of it too, I guess. It was marvelously cathartic.

I did some other things last night, along these lines. Sometimes you just need to destroy things.
amygdalae: the alternative is getting angry (this is me trying to be nice)

[personal profile] amygdalae 2016-03-29 04:56 am (UTC)(link)
Mmn.

[A soft hum. Bruce... well, he's really not one to approve of smashing things, but its certainly better than smashing people, so. As long as it remains healthy, he's not going to stop them.]

If you ever need more help in making things to break, let me know.
ratingspoint: (KISS ♥ sparkle up your day!)

[personal profile] ratingspoint 2016-03-29 04:58 am (UTC)(link)
[...Oh. Well, he hadn't expected that, but he's actually pleased with it.]

...I'd like that, actually. Somehow I didn't take you for the sort.
amygdalae: you're speaking as if I even have one (you're asking me to make a choice?)

[personal profile] amygdalae 2016-03-29 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
For what? Making things?

[Looking at Mettaton with an inquisitive look.]
ratingspoint: (RECOVER ♥ it's either me or you)

[personal profile] ratingspoint 2016-03-29 05:19 am (UTC)(link)
Being willing to sit there making bricks for the sole purpose of having other people break them.

...It's actually pretty boring. If anything, I'd probably just want the company.
amygdalae: you sir are not impressing me (is that all you've got?)

[personal profile] amygdalae 2016-03-29 06:01 am (UTC)(link)
I'm pretty good at waiting.

[Says this with the utter lack of irony.]

But if it helps people, I certainly don't mind spending some time. [Time is what... they have here, anyway. For the most part.]
ratingspoint: (RELENT ♥ maybe you have half a point)

[personal profile] ratingspoint 2016-03-29 06:03 am (UTC)(link)
That'd be good, then! Really, we ought to just make this a Sunday ritual, if you ask me. The trials are difficult enough to warrant it; if we can't stop doing those on a weekly basis, at least we ought to be allowed to relieve some stress afterwards.
amygdalae: (oh look there's wally.)

[personal profile] amygdalae 2016-03-29 06:12 am (UTC)(link)
[That's... well.]

I don't see any reason to stop that.

[...although.]

Maybe you should do it elsewhere, though. All the dust flying around here won't be good since we have food in the area.
ratingspoint: (ARROGANCE ♥ that's what she said)

[personal profile] ratingspoint 2016-03-29 06:14 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe! It was just one of the larger open spaces that we have around here, which is why I'm using it for the time being.

[It's not taken up with things like instruments or sewing machines or...art...crap.]
amygdalae: (yet more work)

[personal profile] amygdalae 2016-03-29 06:25 am (UTC)(link)
We'll see what we can do. If needed, we can easily work out an area in here to make use of for this.

[After all its not like... they need the entire space now, anyway.]
