Week 5.
Three more have joined the deceased this past week. Taichi Yagami was punished for breaking a rule, Megumi Sakura was killed, and Norman Bates... well, the less said about Norman, the better. A third of you are dead now; your losses are becoming more and more evident with each passing week. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible fifth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you'll probably need the distraction after the last trial. SURVIVORS REMAINING: 17 |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week five of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

[Though he doesn't leave, instead leaning against one of the closer washtubs to watch.]
You might wanna let it soak in saltwater for a little bit. Helps a lot with stains. [Bloodstains, particularly.]

[Not the first time he had to deal with bloodstains, after all. Although usually he just tosses the clothes away, if he still has them in the first place--
His grip on soap slips, the bar falling into the water, and Bruce curses under his breath as he dunks his hand into the half-filled sink, trying to get it back.]

You sure you don't want any help with anything?

[Fine, he wants to say, but he chokes up a little before he can say that word. Fine? Hah. He's never been fine, even before this. And now he's even less fine. Megumi died, Norman was a mess and now King--
It's not that he doesn't understand why King decided to do it. He just wishes--
Bruce finds the soap and pulls it back out of the water.]
I'm fine.

[Just saying.]

If its something you'd say too, then you'd understand why I'm saying it.
[Not that... he wants Stan to fuck off or anything, but just.
It's hard.]
no subject
[It's maybe taken him a long time to realize, and there's no way around it either way; telling anyone what was going on before would've blown it all up in his face. But he knows how he feels about the kids keeping their problems secret.]
no subject
[It's a small concession, if anything, although Bruce's voice is quiet and he's back to trying to wash off the bloodstains from King's clothes.
Bruce knows that his method isn't exactly the healthiest, but what can he do? It's not as if anybody can understand the circumstance that he's in.]
no subject
[With nothing else to do, he just watches the water for signs of red. Maybe it'll come out.]
We're all pretty fucked up, aren't we?
no subject
[Bruce... isn't going to deny that. For better or for worse, they were all forced to change - to adapt in this place. If they didn't, none of them would have managed to make it until now.]
no subject
[An apt comparison.]

We are pretty much prisoners here. Trapped like rats for whatever cruel thing he wants to do.

[Normal shrinks probably don't do this.]

It ain't hard to imagine. Either that or it's the world's worst reality TV show.

I can only imagine a certain type of people getting any sort of enjoyment out of this.
