Week 5.

WEEK 5 Three more have joined the deceased this past week. Taichi Yagami was punished for breaking a rule, Megumi Sakura was killed, and Norman Bates... well, the less said about Norman, the better. A third of you are dead now; your losses are becoming more and more evident with each passing week. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible fifth floor. ...I suppose it was kind of dumb to ask that question. [Wry smile.] Do you want me to make some tea?

...you know, I'm usually more of a coffee guy, but coffee isn't very comforting. So... tea it is, I suppose.

[amygdalae]

Alright. Just give me a bit.

[And Bruce will pad around the kitchen now to get the things that he needs to make said tea for Tarrlok.]

Do you have any kind of preference?

...hmmm... well, it's pretty good with honey in it. I usually prefer bitter to sweet, but... you know how it is.

[amygdalae]

[A nod. Yeah, Bruce knows how it is.]

How about honey and ginger? [That way it won't be too sweet, and hopefully it'll be still acceptable for Tarrlok.]

...you know, that sounds like it'd be practically a cure-all right now.

[ginger is at least more interesting than standard tea...]

Give me a bit to make it, then.

[He goes off to get the ginger and returns quickly enough. They've already been sliced, so Bruce doesn't need to do that and he puts some of the slices into a pot and fills that with water. Once that's done he puts it onto the stove and turns that on.

While they wait for that to be done, Bruce takes out two cups for themselves and gets the honey out.]

How much honey do you need?

I'd say about... a quarter of the way, maybe?

[it's... it's incredibly necessary.

[amygdalae]

[...sure, Tarrlok.

If it helps Bruce's only response to that is a brief pause, and then after that he opens up the honey and starts to put in all that honey that Tarrlok apparently needs.]

Is this enough? [He asks once he does actually fill Tarrlok's mug about quarterway with said honey.]

[...he wasn't expecting Bruce to actually do it... but you know.......]

...yeah, I think that should work.

[Well.... there's no reason why he wouldn't...]

As long as you're satisfied with it.

[...meanwhile Bruce will put a lot less honey in his own mug, thank you very much.]
