WEEK 5 Three more have joined the deceased this past week. Taichi Yagami was punished for breaking a rule, Megumi Sakura was killed, and Norman Bates... well, the less said about Norman, the better. A third of you are dead now; your losses are becoming more and more evident with each passing week. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible fifth floor. [Truth, huh. So even Colress believes that the dreams are possibly real...

This bothers Bruce more than he's willing to admit.]

If they're real, then they possibly can't be 'dreams', right?

If they aren't, then I'm not quite sure what to call them... They may still be dreams, but of things we may have forgotten?

[It definitely sounds weird to imagine, no doubt about it. But...]

There is...another thing, that made me give pause about the dreams. The envelopes we received last week? My secret implied something that I would do in the future. Or rather, something I would allow to happen. Sure enough, I actually experienced that very thing in my dream last night.

[...huh. Now that is strange.]

How would he even know that, in that case? Especially if you weren't even aware of it yourself.

[There's no way the Kingmaker could just... well then again they're all from different times, so...

Damnit.]

I suppose it is no different than how specific details are displayed on our profiles in the dining hall- even very private information or information that we may not have been aware of.

Well, my profile was not suspicious compared to some, but it's not like I go around voicing the people I dislike, you know?

[You're talking to the guy who has himself as a dislike, Colress, so... yeah.]

Yeah. [Just that, in agreement, Bruce himself frowning some more.] I'm... still not inclined to take them at face value myself, but...

[...its getting harder and harder to just ignore them or write them off so quickly.]

The dreams, you mean? Indeed, I imagine some of you may be having more fantastical dreams than I am. And I certainly cannot confirm the dreams as fact, since they are dreams.

But it cannot hurt to entertain the possibility. We don't have much to go on right now as is.

[He wishes he could discuss the content of the dreams with people, but understandably it's also not really his business. He would just like to make some headway with a theory on them.]

From what has been said though by others, a lot of the dreams have been correlating to whatever injuries or things that at first don't match up.

[Such as Sigrun and her very real injury, or... Bruce and his own items.]

They may not be fact, but they seem incredibly close to it.

Ah, and the mysterious haircuts? Interesting, so I am not alone, then... Well, I didn't arrive with any physical changes, but it also explains why Klinklang is here rather than the Klink I knew when I arrived.

[Klinklang whirrs slightly at the mention of its name. It's glad that Colress actually remembers it evolving now, but it's still really weird that he didn't at first...]

Captain Eide had an injury which I looked over for her on her initial arrival. [Of course, its already healed up since then.] Miss Sakura had a haircut, as you recall, and Mister Zagi mentioned that he didn't have his metal arm prior to being here.

[Just some examples that Bruce can actively recall...]

Hanamura and I arrived in different clothing than what we remembered ourselves wearing, too.

Oh, yes, how could I have forgotten about Zagi's arm...!

[Ugh, he's reminded again about the disappointment he felt when Zagi was killed. He really was looking forward to him getting used to that metal arm of his.]

Did you two end up seeing those new clothes in your dreams? And did Miss Sigrun dream of her injury? I seem to recall Miss Megumi mentioning the haircut...

Captain Eide mentioned about the injury during one of the previous meetings. [For better or for worse, considering...] I'm not sure about Hanamura, but as for me I arrived in one of the jumpsuits we all have in here.

[Which still puzzles him, because why was he even dressed from something that he clearly never had at all...]

Ahh, that's right! My my, I am starting to let my memory slip a bit... I must not be sleeping well.

[He needs another Misa-Misa Crossword Puzzle(TM) stat, obviously.]

But...that is strange about your jumpsuit. I arrived in my usual work attire, which is why I found it strange that all of my belongings had been frisked from my pockets. Even the more hidden ones!

Hopefully they didn't take you while you were in the shower or something! How embarrassing that would be.

[HE'S JOKING, BUT...why the hell would Bruce not have his clothes??]

[Its okay Colress, a lot has been happening. Bruce would be surprised if everyone was able to remember everything, to be honest.

But that aside... yes, Bruce is sort of curious to know why he didn't have his clothes too. Not that... he really wants to talk to the Kingmaker though. Because the Kingmaker is a jerk.]

I don't think I was in the shower. [At least his dreams didn't imply that, if they are to be real. Which Bruce still is on the fence about.] It's certainly... odd. Almost everyone else came in their own clothes.

[Unfortunately, this is going to be one of those situations where Colress brings up the lovely Kingmaker.]

I don't suppose you could ask the Kingmaker? There is a good chance that he'll say it's not important, but I've found him to be...surprisingly agreeable at times? It was a little startling, actually.

[And he also realizes that this is the first time he's mentioned talking to the Kingmaker...but it's nothing that big. A lot of people talk to him.]

[A lot of people talk to him indeed... Bruce himself included. Although he hasn't really contacted him at all since the third week because fuck everything, seriously.

His face probably shows as much on how much he likes the idea of talking to their captor - that is, he doesn't like it one bit.]

In the long run a change of clothing isn't that all important, but...

[Maybe he should just do it to get it over with.]

You're not wrong about that. And who knows? You actually could end up learning the cause in your dreams. Now that would certainly give you some good evidence for their credibility.

[Possibly the most useless info gained from a dream...or possibly something important?! Who knows.]

[...Bruce really hopes that the dreams aren't real. The contents of them... he doesn't want to think if some of them really did happen.]

It's still up in the air right now, I suppose. I know there's evidence to show that they're real, but...

[He's still pretty skeptical about it.]
