Week 5.

WEEK 5 Three more have joined the deceased this past week. Taichi Yagami was punished for breaking a rule, Megumi Sakura was killed, and Norman Bates... well, the less said about Norman, the better. A third of you are dead now; your losses are becoming more and more evident with each passing week. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible fifth floor. Oi! Don't make a mistake of it, I'm not the type to look forward to anything of that sort. [The idea of enjoying the murder bothers him more then he'll have time to admit.]

I just think that we'll have to deal with him, sooner or later. Then we'll figure out what to do with him. It's not like this whole disaster can go on forever.

[Although the "sweetheart" thing is starting to get to him. That's not a word he'd heard people describe him with since... forever.]

I'm not going to have doubts that we'll need to deal with the bloke eventually. Right now, I'd just like to hope nothing goes wrong anymore.

...I think we'd all like that, actually. Or at least for him to stop giving us cause to think that something might.

Right now... I'm just trying to wrap my head around it! [The fucking kaxons ringing in their ears didn't help his mood at all.]

The power to go back and change one mistake you've made... sounds unbelievable, aint it?

...It does, a bit. But I'm not going to say it wouldn't be nice, either - I like the idea! It's a good one to think about sometimes.

But it's not something that'll dig at me enough to make me move on it.

.... [Reserved, Speedwagon lets out a breath he didn't know he was holding.] I'd be lying if it wasn't a sight more interesting then some of the other motives he's thrown our way. Usually at least one thing all people would like to go back and change in their lives.

But I'd hardly agree to something that sounds that impossible.

Normally I'd agree with you, sweetheart - but we've seen a lot of impossible things since coming here, right?

Still, we'll never know if it works or not... unless someone feels like trying to find out.
