Week 5.
Three more have joined the deceased this past week. Taichi Yagami was punished for breaking a rule, Megumi Sakura was killed, and Norman Bates... well, the less said about Norman, the better. A third of you are dead now; your losses are becoming more and more evident with each passing week. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible fifth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you'll probably need the distraction after the last trial. SURVIVORS REMAINING: 17 |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week five of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

[...He is just going to tilt his head for a second, the look on his face strangely focused in that sort of way that suggests that either this is gonna be great or you have just made a huge mistake, and he is going to proceed to take that maidenly carry-on, open it, and fill it with the coffee, the rice, the whip, the rose in the test tube, that godforsaken chocolate-chip jerky, and both of those stupid bras.
And then he is going to step back, survey what he has done, and consider it good.]

[He absolutely does not mind one bit.]

[...well, no shit, mettaton, it ain't like those bras are for you]

[And the food? And most of it besides the roses, really.]
How are you two doing?

Cherryblod probably doesn't even need to answer. He is sparkling.]
Aaah, young love... Enjoy yourself, dear.

[...Actually he may be taking one of those spring...things. Mespotamia. Whatever. And the bracelet, the gold thing. Yes.]
I don't know if I'd call it love, darling, but I'm going to enjoy myself.

[Oh my god, he'd forgotten what it was like to joke with his child about romance. It's so great.]

[Cherryblod...]
We really are doing fine, though. A few arguments here and there, but nothing completely terrible.

It's natural to disagree now and then. If you can talk things out like adults, that's healthier than a relationship where you can't argue at all.

Still. That's better than couples who break up at the first sign of trouble.

[...Thanks, Mettaton.]

Also, have I ever said that the Kingmaker can go fuck himself? Because I feel that I should say that at least once.

You're not some game I'm playing at, you're not a replacement for my daughter or anyone else, you're not somebody I'm using to look like a person who isn't fundamentally selfish. You're dear to me. You're family.

I didn't think...
[...]
Well...all right, I thought that maybe that was part of it - missing your daughter or your family, I mean. Maybe. But I've never thought it had to do with being fundamentally selfish.
[...]
Darling, I'm fundamentally selfish. If that were the case, you wouldn't bother in the first place, because you wouldn't care about what it looked like to me or anyone else.
