WEEK 5 Three more have joined the deceased this past week. Taichi Yagami was punished for breaking a rule, Megumi Sakura was killed, and Norman Bates... well, the less said about Norman, the better. A third of you are dead now; your losses are becoming more and more evident with each passing week. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible fifth floor. [Stan shrugs, trying to downplay it. Even now, the question still brings up old bitterness.]

When we were younger, we used to always talk about gettin' a boat and sailin' the world together. Guess I never thought much past that.

That's a nice dream. [ Very childish, but he assumes they were kids when they made it. ] ...Has it come true? Since your profile says you're a sailor.

[ Last time anything like this came up it was a no, but hey, maybe he's remembered something about it. ]

Hahahaha! Naaaaah. I was just a dumb kid back then...

[He shakes his head ruefully. The dumb part didn't really stop when he grew up, either.]

He is that type of person, but he's also been... [ ... ] Not entirely a jerk, sometimes. He's gotten pretty much everything right on my profile, so I don't know why he'd single you out specifically.

[Stan sighs. It is not the first time that thought's occurred to him; he just hasn't known quite what to do with it.]

I guess so. Pretty sure I don't have the money for a boat, but it's not like I'm livin' in the Shack anymore. Maybe I worked somethin' out!
