Fifth.
| The klaxons blare out early on Friday morning, as always. Depending on how late you were out at the party last night, they might not be very welcome, but at least it seems the Kingmaker isn't having any difficulties with them today. The Vault's setup has always been a bit unfortunate on Fridays – the fact that the view from the dorms is a straight shot down the corridor tends to make it completely and immediately obvious when something is wrong. It isn't blood this time; there are no large crimson stains splashed around the hallway or leading outward from one of the rooms. What is there, however, is a person lying on the floor near the stairwell. That doesn't bode well, does it. >Explore? |

[They are all just crowded around him, aren't they?]
We'll have to figure it out soon, regardless.

...No body announcement, though.
Wonder why that is.]

Uhm... has anyone checked his pulse?
no subject
Sure. Sure, let's check his pulse. Is he dead, Jim?]

I feel kind of bad I immediately thought he was dead before checking the pulse.
[But then what's up with the dead body announcement? What was going on here?]

[They have been doing this like, four times by now.
...they're all terribly used to this already.]

[Yosuke whips out his phone- not even trying to hide it to try and call the Kingmaker
Did you pass out on the buttons again, bro?]

[He's never tried to call during an investigation: and considering who he's talking about he'd expect if he ever HAD he either wouldn't answer or tell him that any interference is against the rules.
But dude, this has gotta be an exception here!]

[You know, that is right. Should be done.
Mouri checks Tarrlok's pulse, just in case, although he isn't harboring much hopes of he being alive]

Why didn't the announcement go off?

He's looking up at the ceiling.]
Strange. Suppose we're supposed to hear the Kingmaker and his bloody speech by now.
no subject
Shouldn't we have an announcement by now?
...Excuse me. I'm going upstairs.
[He's even more worried now.]

[Don't go along, shrimpdad!!]

[You know. Why not. Let's have a train.]

The, uh. The sauna, though. Specifically the men's.
That might be less fine.]
