The klaxons blare out early on Friday morning, as always. Depending on how late you were out at the party last night, they might not be very welcome, but at least it seems the Kingmaker isn't having any difficulties with them today. The Vault's setup has always been a bit unfortunate on Fridays – the fact that the view from the dorms is a straight shot down the corridor tends to make it completely and immediately obvious when something is wrong. It isn't blood this time; there are no large crimson stains splashed around the hallway or leading outward from one of the rooms. What is there, however, is a person lying on the floor near the stairwell. That doesn't bode well, does it. >Explore?

[Alrighty then. She and Speedy are supposed to do things here, so let's get started on the body.

Is she naked. Is she clothed. What's obvious here, she's not a doctor.]

[She's entirely clothed, actually - she's lying facedown on the ground, but she's not undressed the way she would be if an actual sauna session was happening.]

Well that's fucking stupid there's more guys than girls here they should've just stuck her in that one.

[Well, first of all, her clothes are wet - it looks like there's a thin layer of water on the floor for some reason, despite the sauna not being in use at all.

...Otherwise, there's been some definite damage done to both her face and her clothing.]

[That's... weird. He'd noticed the sauna wasn't being used right as they walked in, so then why would she...

Anyway, what kind of damage are we talking about?]

[Mild burns on her skin, starting near and around her mouth, the pattern set in a way that indicates that whatever caused it may have streamed down her face.

The damage on her clothes coincides with that.]

is not a pretty sight, honestly, burns are not her favorite scars, and Sigrun grimaces.]

Okay, so, I don't think we should touch the watery stuff.

[Like using Lynne's hand to see if it's what caused those burns. How do chemicals work, Sigrun just doesn't know.]

[Lynne's hand comes back clean, actually. Or, well, wet but unburned. So it looks like the water's safe.]

Yeesh. Speedwagon's right there with you Sigrun, giving a similar grimace.]

Looks like that water's not the cause of those burns then.

[He's... a little relieved.]

Yeah, we can play in it all we want when we're done. I just want to know what it's doing here if this thing isn't on.

[Because you'd definitely know if it was on.]

I don't know what causes burns like this though, so... I guess we're stuck on that point. Look around and see if you can find anything for me. If it's not a knife it's not a murder weapon I want.

[Because Sigrun's gonna see if there's any noticeable bruising on Lynne's head. Bruce keeps mentioning them in trials.]

Yosuke has only had very mild chemical burns before so he doesn't have much experience in the difference between those and heat burns. But still, can't hurt to check!]

[Hello! Well, Yosuke was right on one thing - those burns are definitely not enough to kill her. It didn't, like, eat her face or anything, and it didn't burn through her skin, it's just the general irritation and moderate burning that happens when corrosive materials get on your skin like that.]

Maybe they were trying to hide some evidence on her? Or to distract her?

[He checks where the bleach burns start to try and see where it spilled from. Does it look like someone like, poured it on the top of her head or just like, directly on her face?

Basically if it was poured when she was standing up, or right on her face while she was already on the ground]

[It looks like it was just straight-up dumped on her. She was facedown when found, though - not that Yosuke was here to see that.]

[Seeing as Sigrun can be left to investigate yet another dead girl, Speedwagon's going to follow her suggestion and look for... anything else.

There's not usually much in a sauna anyways, so let's start looking for anything that wouldn't normally be there.]

[Thankfully, there is usually not much in saunas! It's usually just the floor, the benches, people in varying stages of undress, a large white bottle that probably contains some sort of noxious chemical -

[Well he'll surely keep an eye out for anybody in varying stages of undre--OH.


How the hell did they miss this coming in.

He moves to pick it up, testing to see how full the bottle was, and generally just wanting to investigate it.]

[In fairness, it's closer to the door and most people don't immediately look behind them when faced with a dead girl on the floor.

The bottle is empty, though; judging from the label, it looks like it contained bleach at one point.]

[Not unless you're about to get MURDER-No, that's sounds about right. Lynne was a very attention-grabbing corpse.

Seems like lugging this evidence around won't be too difficult. He eyes the label suspiciously.]

"Bleach", eh...?

[He... doesn't know what that is. Is there anything else of note lying around?]
